Days Inn by Wyndham San Francisco - Lombard

What the call breakfast was some old bananas and coffee/juice. Out of three days we stayed, only one day they offered a granula bar. Most parking spots were taken by construction supplies. Tv had issues and the staff had to come by many many times to have it only temporarily fixed. And the issue comes back. Overall very disappointed.

I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay! Room was great! Clean, modern and cozy! The bathroom decor was super pretty and the shower worked strong! Beds comfy and sheets fresh! Parking was good, liked being able to know my vehicle was tucked safe within the property even in downtown! Clerk was such a nice dude!

Front Desk (Gopi) & housekeeper (Leticia) were very friendly and helpful. Property was ideally situated for easy walking to a variety of areas (Presidio, Palace of Fine Arts, Marina, Restaurants).

This is a budget hotel, so adjust your expectations accordingly. We experienced several maintenance issues, including a toilet that required multiple flushes each morning before working properly and hot water that took about 10 minutes to warm up. The hotel also advertises first-come, first-served parking but does not disclose that nearly half the spaces were occupied by remodeling materials and mattresses, limiting parking availability. The location is good. We felt fairly safe and the next street over had nice restaurants and shops. Breakfast is opened at 8am-10am and is limited but something to get you going. San Francisco is expensive so the coffee, banana and granola bar are helpful.

Room was clean and bathroom was remodeled. Parking was limited but there was parking on Lombard st. And free parking on weekends.staff was nice and friendly and helpful with parking info.

We had no hot water for the last couple of days. Reported it the first time it happened and they said it would be looked at but nothing changed. Bit disappointing as it was quite chilly in San Francisco at the time so not pleasant to have a cool shower.

Place was freshly remodeled so that was nice. Parking was super tight but free so that was good in such a busy place.

Despite growing up in the Bay Area, this was the first time I stayed in the city. The hotel was clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was free, on site, parking. I was super happy with the location as a lot of key attractions were within walking distance. The palace of fine arts and the shoreline were within 1/2 mile. Fort Mason and Chrissy field a mile away. Fort Point and the Golden gate were a mile away, as was Ghirardelli Square. Koit tower and The famous part of Lombard street were about two miles away. Lime scooters and e-bikes were conveniently located. If I wasn’t walking, I rode these. Had a blast. The city is congested so driving is no fun, unless you get Waymo or uber, then it’s someone else’s headache. The street behind the hotel has a market, a bazillion cafes, and other restaurants. This hotel gets 11/10.

The reason I didn't give the property an excellent on cleanliness is, they were remodeling. Our room was great and clean. When the property advertised there was a breakfast, we didn't expect coffee, juice, bananas, and granola bars. Everything else was fine. It was a great location for where we were sightseeing.

It’s under construction but my room was clean and the staff was super helpful. The location is great. I will come back.
