Motel 6 San Francisco, CA - Lombard Street

staff were quick and responsive; the room itself was, of course, somewhat dated and basic - but it is a standard lombard motel. Parking was available and the layout (only one entrance from the street) made it feel much better than street parking from a safety viewpoint.

The motel is surrounded by taller properties, and there were people on nearby balconies partying and watching us, which made the area feel uncomfortable. I realize the motel can’t control neighboring properties, but it did affect our experience. Also, despite being pet-friendly, there was no nearby patch of grass or dirt that we could find, so I would not recommend this location if you’re traveling with a dog. We checked in around 5:30 p.m. and checked out about an hour later. When we left, I had to ring the office doorbell several times before someone answered. For us, the convenience of being close to the marina wasn’t worth the noise, lack of comfort, and overall feeling of unease.

Nothing, even staff was scary to talk too. The place was noisy, some house less individuals, crowded, I would never recommend this place... not worth the cost.

It was terrible. I did not feel safe. The box springs had old blood splatters on them. A homeless man was passed out on the corner. We left.

Rooms was dirty, stains on the chair when entering the room. Bedding had visible stains all over. We ended up getting a different hotel due to how dirty the room was.

The AC unit blew the curtains open and let in too much light. The stand for suitcases was broken but left in the room as if you could stii use it.

Location was great. Coffee shops around the corner. Cleanliness was not good.

It had no refrigerator or microwave, and they had microwaveable products in the vending machine. I had to pay 10 dollars a day for parking.

Lost a lot of money and don't know how to work out some compensation! The bedding and room condition was just unbearable!

The room wasnt ready when checked in. The linens were not cleaned well and the chairs were gross.
