This hotel was perfect for my stay. Private parking, clean and just across the street from the beach with a super cute coffee shop/cafe on the corner. The room had modern upgrades, a mini fridge and microwave and being on the third floor I could see the ocean from my windows. I would 100% stay here again.

The ease to check in and check out was great! The beds and pillows were comfy and we had a view close to the beach. There was no one available in the morning when we left our door card in the room as we were leaving. I just wanted to make sure we hadn't left anything in the room. We were asked to leave the keys in the room.

Nice location I can only speak to the handicap accessible room. The rest may be fine bc this room was separate from rest of hotel and one entered right off the sidewalk. The door to the rest of the rooms was directly adjacent to the wall of this room and loudly slammed shut anytime someone went in and out. This was every few minutes until midnight and then every half hour or so until 3 am. Literally impossible to sleep and I had earplugs and turned the fan on high to mask noise and I would jolt out of bed every slam. Shower only had handheld nozzle with no place to set it so as impossible to lather when one hand was holding nozzle. Truly unusable room.

Such a brilliant location. Close to the incredible Ocean Beach and fabulous breakfasts at The Java Beach Cafe. Ate at Ruby's and a small Thai restaurant up the road on the right hand side. Highly recommend all. Close to the amazing Golden Gate Park which is a terrific walk through to Haight Ashbury. Also walking distance to the ruins of The Sutro Baths. Our check in was efficient and the rooms were cleaned after our first night of a two night stay. Thank you The Seascape Inn team. No lifts so you don't have to go up two short flights of stairs but was aware of this before booking so not really a problem.

AMENITIES: Room was clean, had lots of space, beds were comfy. Plenty of conveniently located outlets, including USB, near the beds and desk. I thought the cost was reasonable and I appreciated the generous cancellation policy and not charging till closer to the date. We loved that it had included parking, AC, and a private bathroom, none of which are necessarily a given in SF -- you have to check that these are included amenities when looking for a hotel. CUSTOMER SERVICE: I SUPER appreciated their flexibility -- we originally had two rooms booked and one of our group cancelled due to a family emergency. I hesitate to mention this because this is obviously an exception and we don't want others to consider it an expectation, but they also went above and beyond by allowing us to cancel 10 hours beyond when the cancellation window ended, and we felt extremely relieved and grateful for the one-time exception. During our stay, we were able to get what we needed in a reasonable length of time. There was no one at the front desk most times we came down, but we were able to press the Ring doorbell to get assistance right away. If I'm being honest, we did kind of feel like we were a bother when we asked for things (like when our room key got demagnetized), but we did get what we needed as well. CANCELLATION POLICY: Generous cancellation policy when we booked and no charge until right before our stay. Unfortunately, I went to book again for next year and it seems they changed it to a very strict cancellation policy where you can only cancel within 24 hours of booking and they charge right away as opposed to closer to our stay -- I hope this changes back! PRICE AND LOCATION: It was super reasonably priced for a large event weekend. The location was wonderful, very close to Golden Gate Park, cute little cafe right next door (expensive, but delicious), and it felt safe and quiet during sleeping hours. PARKING IS LIMITED: The parking lot is small and fills up. It is first come, first served, so be aware that you might need to find street parking on a super busy weekend. We did get one spot for the one room we had, but I'm not sure if they have one spot per room (maybe they do, just not sure). We unfortunately ended up having to bring two cars, and the street parking was *extremely* difficult to find in this area during our stay (not a knock on the hotel, just still something to know for planning). NO ELEVATOR: There is no elevator. Can be tricky to carry luggage up if you have a lot or if heavy. That being said, our expectations were still met, if not exceeded, and we look forward to staying here again!
