For SF, it’s excellent value! Love the location across the street from Ocean Beach and a couple of blocks from Golden Gate Park. Also love the convenience of free parking and Java Beach Cafe on the corner (super delicious breakfast burrito!). There are also lots of great restaurants in walking distance. Here and there the finishings are a little janky but the place is sparkling clean. The beds are comfy with nice linens and the people are nice. Our room (112) was really big. Two queen beds and a couch. Mini fridge and microwave are handy. We liked being right on the street to look out at the J Church, people walking by and a view towards the ocean. Yes, the J Church is loud and also we could hear people above us and walking down the stairwell loudly and clearly! We live in a city apartment so that doesn’t bother us. We stayed there 4 nights and then later 1 night. Will stay there again next time we’re in SF!

Perfect beach spot. Convenient transportation. Great coffee shop right next door. I’d stay again.

Bulk amenities were amptty. No soap in the shower, no shampoo, lotion was empty and hand soap pump did not work

Close to Golden Gate Park Old installations and very expensive

Parking is tight but included.

Great location with an easy beach across the street and Golden Gate Park a 5 minute walk away. Great bakery next door had delicious food and drinks and Ruby’s cafe on the east corner with yummy seafood chowder.

The room was massive. The parking was good. The beach was outside. The tram into town was outside the door too. Nothing to add

A fairly basic and probably older hotel. Overall it was clean and comfortable but nothing fancy. Well located in a funky neighborhood with easy access to Ocean Beach; which is across the street As mentioned previously, I consider this a pretty basic hotel. The main attraction is it's proximity to the beach. On the downsides: there is no included breakfast (although there is a cafe on the corner), there is no elevator which is a problem if you're on the 3rd or 4th floors, and there is a cable car running on rails just outside the hotel that goes late at night and is quite noisy.

Being across the street from the ocean was very nice and the view of the ocean was nice. The only thing that we didn't like was that the door kept rattling. We had to put our bags against it to stop it.

Easy walk to beach. Coffee house on the corner. Right on CalTrain line. Free parking. View of ocean from room. I’d gladly stay again
