Have stayed is several of the small and cheap shared bathroom places in San Francisco this was clearly the best maintained and clean. The room was clean and well put together, the bathrooms were clean, and available. No elevator. Parking is the biggest problem. I got lucky on a side street but it is very tricky between Market Sreet having no parking from 2am-4am and most of the side streets being pretty parked up. Great access to BART and Street Cars.

I had two strokes, so I definitely appreciate it.

I definitely recommend this place!

Very clean and helpful staff. Excellent location.

The room was clean but the bathroom and shower are in separate rooms across your room in the hallway. Our fan didn’t work so the room was unfortunately hot. The room doesn’t close unless you lock it with the key so everytime I left the room I had to have my buddy lock it from the inside. There is also no overnight public parking nearby so that you have to park far away form the hotel.

I didn't stay because it was filthy and stank. Therewasbags of rubbishall along the hallway and the carpet reeked. So, I left and went to the Warwick. Places like this should not have any kind of rating. It was 100^ disgusting.

Fantastic for the price. The location is absolutely perfect and the rooms appeared to have been fairly freshly painted. The bed was comfortable and the bathrooms were reasonably clean. Everything was passably clean and the daily room turnover was nice. Maids did a great job there. Awesome for a solo traveler and I liked the European-style setup. It’s not a 5-star hotel but you aren’t paying 5-star hotel prices and the value is great. Walls were kind of thin and it wasn’t flawlessly clean. The floor to the head of the bed and the side where it touched the walls was kind of dirty but that was easy enough to overlook.

Very clean room! Easy to check in and helpful staff.
-
Location + single rooms The stay was very noisy, with thin walls and doors that shut loudly, making it difficult to rest. Check-in was also delayed by about 20 minutes, which added to the inconvenience.

Was hesitant at first, but overall good experience. Very clean shared restrooms. Did have one evening where 1 restroom/shower on the floor was out of service (there are 2 per floor), but I’m fairly certain it would have been fixed the following morning-but we checked out of the hotel prior to maintenance.

It was clean and quiet That i didn't look at the room I got for the restroom and shower other than that it was on me

It was definitely conveniently located, if you don’t mind walking. Which I do, so it worked out. It was beyond paper thin walls. I get it, it’s $70 per night so you get what you pay for. But man, trying to open up a window to cool the room down and it being obscenely loud was stressful. And then hearing any and all conversations all night was horrendous.
