THE ROOM WAS VERY TIDY AND CLEAN. THE BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD! THE CREDIT CARD I USED TO BOOK THE ROOM COULD NOT BE USED FOR SOME REASON?? SAID IT WAS DECLINED. I USED IT RIGHT AFTER CHECKING IN (??????) ALSO THE NOISE THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT WAS VERY LOUD AS I WAS ON THE SIDE OF THE STREET. NO ELEVATOR TO GO UP TO THE ROOM. HAD TO CARRY LUGGAGE UP AND THE LOBBY AND UPSTAIRS WAS EXTREMELY WARM. I HEARD EVERY SINGLE CAR THAT NIGHT.

The staff were nice and helpful. And although its not a great location, I felt safe as you have to tap the room key to access the lift lobby, and tap it again in order to operate the lift. The hotel room was soooo dated that I think its completely unacceptable. There were mould on the lamps and in the bathroom. The lights were so dim. The air conditioner was super old, it was very noisy and very random, its either really cold or really hot in the room, but very noisy throughout the night. Also, you can hear everything happens in the corridor. It did not worth this price for a room like this at all.

Free breakfast and Wi-Fi. The breakfast was basic but adequate, with eggs, sausage, coffee, cereal, yogurt, and fruit. The bed was reasonably comfortable. We stayed in room 110, an accessible room on the ground floor. There was a strong, unpleasant smell throughout our stay. The curtains and wallpaper were dirty, and everything looked worn and neglected. The TV channels didn’t work. The bathroom had no shelf for even a toothbrush or toiletries. The shower had a seat, but the very low barrier allowed water to spread all over the bathroom floor. The toilet seat was damaged and appeared to have been touched up with white paint. Overall, a very unpleasant room.

We booked the wrong check-in date. We noticed it almost immediately and called the hotel. The guy at reception said we had to contact Booking.com to fix the mistake. The Booking representative couldn't reach the hotel, and we're still being charged for 1 extra day we didn't stay.

Checked in with two children at 11pm to a room that smelled like an ashtray and was obviously used as a smoking room. The front desk person came and acknowledge the smell but wasn’t able to move us to another room because none were available. Requested a refund but was denied. The parking lot was sketchy with people standing around and drinking and smoking.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Stay with Amazing Amenities! I had a fantastic stay at the Clarion Inn Silicon Valley on Monterey Highway and easily give it 5 stars. The highlights of my trip were definitely the great hot tub and pool—spending time in them completely relieved my back pains and made my stay incredibly relaxing. The entire experience was smooth from start to finish. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff was welcoming and attentive. The location is highly convenient for getting around San Jose, and it offers excellent value for the price. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, therapeutic, and friendly place to stay! a hot tub in my room lol

They provided another room but check in person directed me to wrong location and she had to ask another person where the room was located! On my third trip back to front desk to tell her again she sent me to wrong place another guest was there telling her she can’t find her room Then I saw that the tv was not working and they told me hotel is full and I can’t change room Only after I insisted that they give me refund or discount that an available room magically appeared The room was nicer but still the drain in bathtub didn’t work so I couldn’t take a bath The eggs at breakfast was overcooked and dried out and I was the first person there at 6:45 The person at checkout was the same person at check-in and she couldn’t explain the charges so had to call her manager The fact that she is totally unprepared to work at front desk is not her fault but shows how this place is mismanaged I have been traveling for 50 years and have stayed in some bad hotels in places like Nepal India and Morocco But this place is ranked in my top 10 of worst hotel experience

Couple night stay a little out of the way from where i was going but it was quite and rooms were comfy

The vietnamese staff who allowed a 1200 check out was a different story, she was nice at first but towards the end she couldn't wait for a few minutes for the room access card whilst I was already out of the door. She was just standing there as ( was rummaging

Everything was well kept, working, up to date, and modern. My favorite hotel to stay in when in San Jose.
