Holiday Inn San Jose - Silicon Valley by IHG

This hotel has 1 washer and dryer for the entire facility and the laundry room is locked at 9pm. Good luck anybody who got off late that day. Breakfast is 20 dollars and its a standard hotel breakfast. Dehydrated eggs, poor selection. Hot water issues the entire time I was there. Seemed to only last about 5 minutes max in the shower. And to top it all off they charge 18 a night for parking. Homeless all over property and exterior. Would NEVER recommend.

Good place for the budget , easy to transportation

Nice place. Pretty quiet. Clean. Affordable for California. I’d stay here again BUT DONT BOTHER WITH THE AIRPORT SHUTTLE. seriously. The guy driving was a complete psycho and didn’t speak much English. He had no idea how to help a disabled person.

The facility was good and clean.

Checkin to checkout process was very smooth. Staff was very helpful. Though breakfast and parking were charge basis. At the time of booking through Expedia there was no indication that breakfast and parking would be chargeable.

It’s not a very quiet area as there were loud noises on 2 out of 5 nights that I stayed there. The staff was cooperative but the hotel could use some renovation

I had a great experience staying at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend this hotel to others.

Nice place, close to shopping, restaurants and stadium.

Good breakfast bar

This is the most disgusting Holiday Inn I’ve ever stayed at. We were put in 2 different rooms until they finally had no choice but to put us in their suite because of how terribly disgusting the rooms were. I guess 3rd time was a charm but I was so disgusted with how dirty the previous rooms were that our stay was so uncomfortable. The front attendant was so understanding and helpful he really tried getting us into better rooms and apologized. Housekeeping is not doing their job correctly. There was stains and hair in our bed which leads me to believe the bedding isn’t even being switch out they’re just remaking the beds. The amount of dust in the bathroom and trash shoved in between the bathroom vanity and hairs in the tubs leads me to believe they aren’t cleaning them. I had to go buy cleaning supplies to do a quick clean by our 3rd room because I was worried about if it was actually cleaned or not.

Check in was easy and the lobby was nice and clean but the rooms were barely clean. They had a musty smell. Family we traveled with had to be changed to 3 different rooms because the room was dirty. They had hair in their bed, hair in the sink and tub. Stains on the bedding. We had stains on pillow cases in our room.

Old hotel , bad maintained

In a good location and staff were friendly. Would stay here again
