Days Inn by Wyndham San Marcos

Staff were helpful in letting us check in early. Room was fine and roomy. Beds weren't that comfortable but shower was great. The fridge in the room was great, had enough space for all our food. We would stay again for a close, inexpensive spot near San Diego.

On the second floor, the hotel smelled like marijuana; even though doors and windows had been opened to air it out, the odor was strong. A screw was sticking out of the bathtub handle, and the cover plate for the screws had fallen off. Luckily, I always bring my own shampoo, because the hotel's dispenser was empty.

The room was clean but the door handle was breaking

Room was clean, most of staff was nice, parking wasn’t terrible. A couple lights didn’t work in the room. For the price it wasn’t too awful

Breakfast was a tiny bit better than the Days inn in Carlsbad, included a warm waffle and some bad pastries, also no elevator!

Was clean, the staff was accommodating- parking was easy- everything was just fine.

Staff are very helpful and rooms are clean. Many shopping plazas near by, Mexican restaurant right next door and a McDonald’s across the street. Down side; pool was somewhat dirty and saw it get filtered on the third day as we were checking out. The “breakfast” consisted of coffee and pastries, oh yeah and a waffle maker. Typically when hotels say “breakfast included” it includes of cereal, juice, yogurt and beige

Clean room

Minimal but the accommodations were what I needed. Breakfast very good ! Heating cooling difficult to operate. Excellent/convenient location in the city

Some lights did not work right tv was complicated to use

Although the desk operator was super efficient and very professional, there were cobwebs in the corner of the front office and it looked uninviting. The room smelled like Pine Sol, and I had to leave bc my head started aching. I do not recommend this place.

It was clean. Someone broke into our truck and stole some things and the camera was not working.

When i checked in, i was given a room on the back of the property that felt very unsafe being that i was traveling alone. once i got to my room it smelled like mildew. after about 10 mins in that room i had to go to the front desk to move to another room , the smell was overwhelming. i was given another room. Unfortunately, in the morning when i wen to take a shower there was no running water in the shower. I honestly did not report since i was leaving early in the morning and heading home. would not recommend this hotel

The breakfast was very disappointing, have stayed in many days inn in or city’s and state and this one breakfast was not even as close to others. And paid much more for this room then others and expected the breakfast to be as equal as other.

No proper breakfast, only waffles and junk food.

Good property, close to many stores and restaurants and very close to freeways. Thank you for a great stay.
