Residence Inn by Marriott San Diego North San Marcos

The room was not clean. The staff was helpful in helping me move to another room. The breakfast was better than other places.

Size of the room was great, Breakfast food was great, Staff was excellent very helpful and kind. More sitting are at breakfast. Park at the very end everything was full at the parking lot.

This property is exceptional they even keep notes from previous bookings so they could remember you when you visit again. It was my kids birthday and they even gave him a toy and asked him about his plans for his birthday celebration my kid turned 6 and he's already asking when we will be staying there again. Breakfast is great and the staff is great. Will be booking this place from now on.

Great stay as always! Staff is always very nice and helpful. We’ve stayed here many times and will continue to do so!

Great accommodations

Clean spacious room. Everything is high quality. Quiet. Huge selection for breakfast buffet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I've stayed at about 5 hotels in the area, and Residence Inn is my favorite, my #1 choice.

Just a few things to note that made our stay a bit uncomfortable. We Booked the 1 Bedroom Suite and when we arrived to our room it was a Handicap Room. I returned to the Desk to ask if there was a Standard 1 Bedroom Suite and was told ALL 1 Bedroom Suites are Handicap Rooms. The problem with the Suite is it lacked needed furniture as pictured on site like the Dresser. When you have an Extended Stay a Dresser is helpful. We also had no Fireplace in the Living Area and No Drawers in the Kitchen for utensils. The set up was just not as expected. We also arrived to NO Towels in the bathroom. Just an inconvenience start to our weekend. Property is located very close to the Freeway so a bit noisy. AC worked great and the property felt safe. Over all a Good Property but not one I will return too. 5*/10* for me

Our room was clean, spacious, and had great amenities. Kitchen, dining room, full bathroom and it was conveniently next to the pool. Though, that last part was just a lucky coincidence. Checkout was seamless and all that was taken out was $5 for parking. Overall great stay!

Was going to extend stay, however they were doing some fire alarm testing which was incredibly loud and I was unable to work! Overall- would stay again if needed!

Superb

The room was filthy. Blood and strands of hair on the sheets in both beds in separate bedrooms. Clumps of hair on the carpet and in the bathrooms. Cleaning service came up with a lint brush to collect the hair and dirt. I requested a vacuum because of how dirty the carpet was. There was a dead smashed bug on the shower curtain that was not cleaned or removed.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, that is where the good rating ends. A/C worked really well for how hot the temp was during our stay. The room was filthy. The breakfast was great

The staff were so friendly and helpful! Loved sitting outside at the fire pit! Perfect place to stay dropping our daughter off to college!

Room was spacious and loved the kitchen. Would stay there again. The breakfast had lots of options. The pool was nice and the hot tub was very relaxing. Staff was friendly and funny.

Ac kept making a very loud and disruptive noise at 2am and every 30 minutes thereafter. Completely disrupted my sleep, eventually had to shut off completely

The size of the room There was no soap or tissues in the bathroom.

Front desk staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and went above & beyond to make our stay such a pleasant one. Every single staff we spoke with were gracious and kind- would recommend to anyone :)

Perfect stay. No trouble and friendly staff!
