Nothing. Absolutely filthy and completely unacceptable, especially for the price. The carpet was beyond disgusting — genuinely, the pavement outside looked cleaner. Hotels should have hard, easily cleaned flooring rather than old carpet in this condition. This carpet needs to be ripped out entirely. The bedding did not appear freshly changed as the sheetswere badly wrinkled, with visible marks on the pillowcase. The lamp had a thick layer of dust and even a cobweb. I ended up sleeping on towels because I did not trust the cleanliness of the bedding. The coffee facilities were dated, the coffee was tasteless, and the included breakfast looked so unappealing I wouldn't eat it. Even the snacks sold in the little shop tasted stale. There was nowhere comfortable to sit and have a coffee or drink later in the day. There was genuinely nothing I could recommend about this hotel. The photos speak for themselves.

The only issues we ran into was when using the hot tub. The hot tub itself was great, there just weren't any clean pool towels in the storage rack, only used towels strung around the pool area. It was warm enough the evening of our stay that we just shook off after and were ok without towels, but when we tried to get back into the building from the pool area with our key card, it didn't work and we couldn't get back in through that door. So we left through the outer emergency exit gate and entered through a different door with our key card just fine. Totally forgot to tell the front desk about it the next morning, because honestly with how great everything else was, it slipped my mind until I thought of it in writing this review. All in all, we would highly recommend this treasure of a place and we'd definitely stay here again.

It’s a great location for parents of UCB student. Very close to UC Berkeley. Very friendly staff. Clean facility. Parking is extra, but it’s very near. The only drawback was that it was smelling like a kerosene outside the hotel. But inside hotel was clean and not smelly at all. Great breakfast offering one of the best.

The size of the bed and the addition of the kitchen and utensils that were supplied Furniture need to be anchored down like dressers otherwise it may fall on a child and some baby proofing for parents coming to stay to not worry about
