Drury Plaza Hotel in Santa Fe

The hotel is in a great location The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly. There was an amazing breakfast buffet as well as another at dinner time which we did not attend but that was a first for me! Both buffets were included with your stay. What more could you ask for!

Stayed on the second floor- great room setup. Stand in shower and soaking tub. Window looked out to the courtyard.

Very spacious, clean and comfortable beds.

Two things failed for us. The size of the cereal bowls ,way too small and the time the pool and hot tub were open. 9 am is way too late especially since it would not require any personal to open it earlier.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. I really enjoyed the roof top bar, happy hour and buffet breakfast. I stayed in a beautiful patio room.

Wonderful place to stay in Santa Fe! Stay was so welcoming and helpful. Terrific happy hour and breakfast! Wish we could have stayed longer.

The front desk staff was very helpful and welcoming, and the amenities were excellent. However, the cleanliness of the room could have been better. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but I would have appreciated more attention to the room’s cleanliness.

This was our third stay at this hotel and felt like it has gone downhill a bit since our last stay a few years ago. Breakfast bar was meh, no different than other lesser hotels and was same all 3 days we were there. Then the “happy hour” they advertise to start at 3:30 was never open at 3:30 and we were not able to partake because we go to dinner early and had reservations. That was a disappointment. The rooms are nice, but not almost $500 per night nice! Not what we consider luxury. No complimentary water in the room or anything special. This hotel is way overpriced inmho. The plus is the location being within walking distance to the Plaza. Even though, we probably won’t return in the future.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. Cleanliness of the room. Best breakfast. Location is ideal, since the downtown plaza is walking distance.

This hotel is the most beautiful one we have ever been in. It is located right in the center of all the stores. We parked our car and never had any problems walking to museums and stores. We also loved the free breakfast and the selection for dinner. We never went to any restaurants. The employees were extremely friendly. It also was very quiet at night. It is pricey, but totally worth it.

Beautiful property in a fantastic location. However, their breakfast quality is probably the worst quality breakfast I have ever had in my 40 years of traveling all over North America and the rest of the world. They offer the cheapest and most tasteless food with a very poor selection. The balcony was so dirty it was not usable. Also for a 4 star hotel we asked for robes and slippers but unfortunately not available. Parking was an expensive $30 a day.

Great facility. Amazing staff. Perfect location. The sunset from the rooftop pool is a sight that will stay with me forever. Every single staff member we encountered was friendly, courteous and willing to go out of their way to be helpful. Complementary breakfast and dinner buffets were very good and 3 complementary cocktails that I could take up to enjoy by the pool. I was able to leave my car conveniently parked at the facility for several hours after checkout while we explored many of the sights and shops around the plaza. Staff recommended the best restaurants in the area. Several were within a few minutes walk from the hotel. I can't imagine I will ever stay anywhere else when I visit Santa Fe in the future. One very good waitress/bartender at the rooftop bar told me she has worked several places but she loves working there because of the staff and management care so much about making all the guests get the most from their experience in Santa Fe. She said "people work hard for their money and we should feel honored that they chose to come here over the hundred of other places around and spend it here with us." I feel like that was the attitude of every staff person we met.

I have mixed feelings about our stay, On the positive side the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The Drury is a very large hotel. The property was constructed as a hospital that was opened in 1953. After an extensive historic preservation the property opened as a hotel in 2014. The metamorphosis is still continuing. The Hotel has the bones to be a grand hotel. But it appears to lack the deep pockets necessary to complete the transition. Particularly disappointing was our experience on the fifth floor pool/bar area. We arrived and asked the bartender if we should order drinks at the bar to be taken outside or we should order them outside. We were told to sit outside and waitress would be right with us. 15 minutes later after being ignored with no wait service in sight , we return to the bar to order drinks, the barstools appear to be a hold from it hospital days. The drinks were amateurish , and the tacos were woefully under stuffed. The guacamole was of the canned variety. We had planned to spend the remainder of the afternoon at the pool … but couldn’t have left soon enough, The room itself is quite large with an adjacent sitting area, which allows for two TVs. The decorating is a tad dated and a little dark for my taste. But over all sufficient. The hotel is a cross between a Hampton Inn and grand Hotel. My hope is that ownership can make the investment necessary to live up to it’s grand potential. I sincerely wish them well.
