Inn and Spa at Loretto

The coffee cafe provided a quiet place to begin your day. We ate at the Living Room restaurant one night....food was excellent. My wife took in a massage at the Spa....enjoyed it a great deal. The hotel has a planned renovation in winter.

If the location were farther away from the square, this would be a two star hotel. As it is it’s three star at best. Bed and pillows were too uncomfortable. Shower was poor stream, low pressure. Dining was a bit better than applebys. Fitness roon was poorly tended, dirty, machines old and broken.

Every staff member was excellent! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great place to stay!

Breakfast was good. Library was very relaxing with awesome music in the evenings. Attentive staff.

The Inn & Spa at Loretto is a quaint old hotel in an ideal location-within easy walking distance to area attractions, shopping, and a host of restaurants. The restaurant inside the hotel is actually very good with a stellar selection of both food and wine. The hotel has been tastefully updated over the years but an appearance of real cleanliness is difficult to maintain, especially in an older property. The Inn & Spa at Loretto is a prime example. The hallways, which are not well lighted and the rooms, while tastefully appointed, reflect both age and a veil of neglect-not charm and cleanliness. We enjoyed our stay but never saw any staff after our check-in other than the valet guys. None. Staff seemed to be non existent. I found that odd. Overall we were just really disappointed. The Inn & Spa at Loretto has SO much potential but unfortunately, fails to meet the standards of an historic, grand old hotel in my opinion.

Nice hotel well located in Santa Fe. Our room had very loud a/c as did 2 others in our group. The valet was hit and miss as sometimes there was nobody around or they were understaffed. One person at the reception desk was nice when we checked in. However, another staff member was not willing to extend a late checkout from 11 AM to 12 noon. A bit disappointing. The pool area is very nice and we enjoyed hanging out in the lounge.

It just wasn’t special. Staff were not great, the room was so-so. Location was great but I wouldn’t stay again.

The room was large and comfortable. The pool area is a relaxing oasis and a great place to lie in the Sun.

The AC in our room stopped working properly and we notified the staff at 9am. We were called at 9pm that night and told that we needed to change rooms because the AC was not working. There was no one to help us to move our luggage etc. for a while. We moved part and then a very nice bellman came to help. This all could have been avoided if they had moved us 12 hours earlier. I asked for a credit for one nights stay. The assistant GM said it we prepaid and he could not issue a credit. Josh at the front desk was able to give us credit for resort fees and a complementary breakfast. All in all, the next time we go to Santa Fe we will stay elsewhere. There are too many excellent hotels in Santa Fe to deal with problems like this.

Staff was great, pool was beautiful, coffee shop was great, did not use ither venues. Valet great.

Beautiful Inn, conveniently located to the Plaza, shops and restaruants. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. The pool area is an oasis with beautiful plants, and furnshings. The coffee shop has excellent coffee and morning pastries and Luminaria restaurant offers pleasant surroundings and outstanding food.

Absolutely gorgeous property decorated in a rich New Mexican style. Wonderful staff and in the center of everything in downtown Santa Fe.

Great location and good amenities. Please do not trust photos provided in booking rooms based choice. Per desk staff pictures are not right. We booked vista grande king for the seating area. Received what is shown as retrace king with the two big shares shoved against the end of the bed, which were a challenge to find way around in the dark during the night. Desk staff said this is the biggest room, that photos are incorrect, and that the two chairs represent the seating area (shown with loveseat and chairs in photos). Common areas are nice and updated, room comfortable and dated.

Location is excellent and staff friendly.
