Hotel St Francis

The only negative was the size of the room

Hotel St. Francis was perfect for our trip. Our room was clean and the hospitality was excellent.

We love the veranda I would have liked to have a better view

A beautiful, elegant hotel. Everything was top notch.

However, the rooms were very small - perhaps to be expected in a historic property - just large enough for a queen bed and a few small pieces of furniture. The room AC unit seem to run every five minutes even though it wasn't particularly warm outside. Overall, a very nice and comfortable hotel in the middle of Old Santa Fe.

They are a terrific old hotel right within walking distance of downtown and the art gallery row. Very kind. Being from a hot climate, they turned the heat on whereas the rest of the hotel had a/c. Very accommodating!

The positive aspects were the incredibly helpful staff (maids, desk, concierge,valets) who helped me so much and the fresh brewed coffee in the lobby, daily. Perfect location made for an even better experience.

Location was excellent. Charming and clean. The veranda was very pleasant for relaxing in the afternoons. Staff were very nice. Our room was small, especially considering the price. No hook in the bathroom.

Beautiful property. Great location. Rooms, lobby and bar well designed quiet and comfortable. Full service valet was a nice perk. Unfortunate that simple AM lobby amenities (coffee / pastry) fell short, were not well stocked or replenished over the three days we were there.

Over rated for how old the place is..and the rates of the rooms. Lots of history but the room itself had a huge crack in the ceiling..weird wet carpet. The bathroom was out dated and hard to navigate for any practical use. Cut my finger on the copper light switch which had sharp edges..ouch. bed was comfortable. Room was too cold and due to the age of the hot we l it was difficult to get warm. Night staff was courteous and attentive. Morning staff was overwhelmed and not that friendly

Always stay at St. Francis 1-2 x/year. Great staff and fantastic location. This time had room with renovated bathroom and lighting system. Light sensors & switches didn’t function appropriately. Notified staff - electrician will need to redo all light switches.

In a perfect close location for walking around Old Town Santa Fe. Rooms overlooking the street were noisy on weekend nights.

We have always loved staying at the St. Francis. We like the cozy atmosphere and the location can’t be beat. The staff has always been super attentive but this visit was even more exceptional. The staff greeted us by name during our short two night stay. The bar is wonderful, too. Can’t say enough good things about the over all stay!
