La Fonda on the Plaza

The location and the lobby are amazing. This is a historic hotel, so the rooms are very small. I thought the furniture and decor was appealing, but very worn. The wood of the furniture and the trim was beaten up. The floor and rug were also worn. I enjoyed the artwork throughout the hotel and the shops. It just needed a little TLC. The valet, and check in service were amazing. The pool and rooftop bar were amazing. The furniture, flooring, and wooden trim work in the room needed some TLC> The room and bathroom were very small. The bathroom had a huge tub, but in order to shower, you had sit on the tub to get into the shower. I felt some opportunities were missed in freshening up the room. It was musty and most high end hotels are scented and ventilated. I do appreciate the historic flair, but it needs to be comfortable.

Love this hotel for its rich history! Staff was sweet and helpful. Lots of big smiles…restaurant great but pricey. Had reservations for dinner but they were so busy we had to wait 30 minutes, but the food was worth it! Kind of hard to get to since it’s in the heart of the historic district with lots of people walking around and some in the streets. But that wouldn’t stop us from coming back!

Beautiful place, frig with freezer in room, original art pieces everywhere, nespresso in room very nice, very soundproof, walking distance to everywhere Rooms are somewhat small

The staff is excellent and goes beyond what most hotels offer. Friendly, clean rooms, nice balcony to watch sunrise. I won’t stay at any other hotel in Santa Fe.

Good food, kind staff, room cleanliness left a lot to be desired.

Room and the location was absolutely great. It almost felt like staying in Latin America. AC was good, not hitting directly. Staff were quite hospitable and helpful. Mesmerizing aura. The rates were a little too high.

MK &Co said there are no safety and store owners have private security . Santa Fe felt unsafe

La Fonda is spectacular

Awesome historic hotel with small clean well appointed rooms. Restaurant very noce bit expensive. Adjoining french cafe was delicious and authentic.
