Inn of the Governors

A well kept, quaint hotel in the heart of Santa Fe. The staff are all very welcoming. There is a nice, small pool. While the bar on a Thursday night was lively, the hotel itself seems to cater to an older clientele. But no complaints!

This was such an exceptional stay made even better by excellent staff from the parking lot to reception. So kind and helpful! The pool area is peaceful and nice. The breakfast is not to be missed! Made to order from a fixed menu and a great Santa Fe mix. Easy walk to the railway yard and all downtown and river locations. I would love to stay again. Highly recommend.

Love it there. Second stay for me. Would make it my always go to every trip but can’t stay when I have my dog. Otherwise, awesome place to stay!!

We walked to a local taco truck that ended up being closed and then decided to eat at the hotel. That was awesome! Great margaritas and food.

The staff was amazing! Service was excellent. We enjoyed our breakfast. The blue corn enchiladas and nachos with green chili sauce and chicken were delicious as well as cold beer after a long day of sight seeing. Outstanding location! The flowers in the windowboxes and the subset and sunrise views made my day and evening. Thank you!

Great towels. Good comfortable bed. Needed more bedside outlets for cpap machine. Good shower though fixtures are dated, but work just fine. Liked the shutters over extra sink. Nice feature and charming. Did not care for the fireplace as the room had a smoky odor.(This was a summer visit). I would ask for a room without fireplace next time.

Inn of the Governors grounds are beautiful. The staff is so friendly, knowledgeable of the area. The location is part of the downtown area, The amenities were numerous.

Very nice hotel in a perfect location! Lots of things to see and do within walking distance! Great sit down breakfast too which is free!!

This is a great choice - very nicely decorated and furnished rooms, great breakfast, bar/restaurant on site, helpful staff and walking distance to everything in downtown Santa Fe. My husband and I spent 3 nights and would be happy to return.
