Hilton Santa Fe Historic Plaza

Convenient location. Very easy to walk to the plaza. Hotel seems very understaffed for everything. Rooms were not ready due to what seems like not enough cleaners. Long line to check in, I’m assuming due to lack of cleaners rooms.

For a hotel sitting on a historic site ( the Ortiz Hacienda) I thought it was still a Hilton and did Hilton things. Our room was dark and pillows were non existent. We got a better experience at a Hampton Inn.

Well appointed, clean, and quiet. Great complimentary buffet breakfast!! Comfortable walking distance to our planned activites. Just a relaxing visit!!

Breakfast was extremely poor and basic. Just few items to eat. All meat was pork no other alternative. There was no gluten free bread ( I was surprised, considering the place was HILTON) the manager , Shatima, was kind enough to order gluten free bread.

Great location within easy walking distance to the downtown area.

Staff helpful and responsive. Minor issue in our room fixed immediately. Stunning historic hotel in great location

Great location. Great breakfast. Nice room. One of the elevators was broken down but we had access to the other one. Bit by bugs the first night. Be sure to pay extra for breakfast package.

First room had broken toilet, we changed rooms and second room had broken toilet and AC problems. One elevator was roped off not in service and the gym wasn’t as nice as it used to be. Front desk and maid services were lovely but management isn’t doing their job!

Great parking, very clean room. Staff very friendly and breakfast was delicious. Location was great. It was a few blocks straight from the plaza. Which made great walking to all the little stores and restaurants.

Elevators were broken both days I stayed at the hotel. The front desk staff was inattentive when I checked in: the staffer was in her phone, chattering away and asked me to wait while she finished her conversation in Spanish. I am fluent in Spanish and she was gossiping with a friend while I waited in front of her. Then she seemed irritable to check me in.

Bruno and (sorry I failed to catch his name!) were fantastic. So accommodating they made me feel like I was their only priority. Checked on how everything was every time they saw me. Best service and hospitality I’ve ever seen! The fridge was too cold and froze some things. Not a big deal for me, I just left my sandwich out to defrost a bit. Might be an issue for others.

Pool was green, hot tub heater was broken,over half of chaise lounges were broken.
