The Inn at Vanessie

Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was excellent. The Inn is a little tired and needs some updating in the rooms but they were clean. The website does advertise a restaurant and music. It has neither.

We enjoyed our visit and stay at The Inn at Vanessie and if we are ever in Santa Fe it will be our first choice for accommodations. Staff was excellent, room was very nice and clean. The breakfast offered was very good. We stayed in one of the rooms from the oldest part of the inn and this led to why we gave the Inn 4 stars. Everything is a 5 star at the Inn but the windows in our room need updating badly. No screens, hard to open and close. Two windows were hard to even lock without them falling inwards. The newer sections have metal windows and would hope money is spent on replacing the windows in the old part. There may be limitations if the oldest part is a national landmark or something like that that keeps the owners from updating. This was never mentioned. You will love your stay.

The hotel itself provides breakfast however we strongly recommend a restaurant across the street for a great breakfast/lunch (Mille) I do want to note that when we checked into our room, we found that the overhead lights in the main room were not working and the shower head leaked to the point that it was really functional. We let the management know and they had it fixed the same day, well done!

The breakfast was not very good at this price point. The parking situation is very tight if you're driving anything bigger than a compact car. The room did not have a window other than the door and was very dark

Very helpful desk staff and kitchen staff. Delicious breakfast. Beautiful room. Comfortable bed. Lovely bathroom. Worked well for my work I needed to do and for our two dogs- quiet corner without potential for a lot of people to walk by and trigger dog barking. Short walk to park and wonderful restaurants. Although we arrived late and missed dinner, staff was helpful with suggestions of nearby restaurants still open. We were delighted to see a painting in the bar that looked like our dogs were used as the models! We didn't like that we could only stay one night.

Very convenient location. Good restaurants within walking distance Very outdated poor lighting in the room, room much smaller than expected. Rubber treads on stairs were worn, stairs in disrepair, didn’t feel safe. Refrigerator in room didn’t work. Blinds were broken. Most food at the breakfast buffet were cold

Absolutely overpriced. Run down facilities. Requested refund. This hotel should not even be offered.

The room was very unique and really gave the experience of Santa Fe. We loved the tall ceiling in our room. The morning breakfast was very good. There was no rush like other breakfasts. There was plenty of food and a very enjoyable breakfast.
