Eldorado Hotel & Spa

Arrived at the hotel with a reservation on Hotels.com already paid for and was told there were no rooms. Staff figured out how to give us a room that was just repaired for leaks and it was OK on night one. The next day the room started leaking water from the ceiling. Asked for a room change and morning staff gave priority and did not execute. Nor relay to afternoon staff. Finally got into new room at 4 PM which is pretty unacceptable for priority change for water leaking into the room. The facility is in poor repair. Roof leaks. Must be addressed. Workout studio smells like mildew. Could not work out. Doors are sticking everywhere. That could be easily fixed. Lobby areas don't have tight thresholds under doors is very noisy early in the morning when people are gathering at the elevators. Bellmen are wonderful and the rest of the staff seems to be pretty good. Hotel is not up to speed maintenance wise. Would like to stay there again, but not in the current order of the hotel.

This hotel was so quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable, we loved it. The pool was beautiful and well maintained.

Staff was amazing to include Gina at the front desk who helped with the Hotels.com misunderstanding and confusion. There were actually 2 reservations and she straightened out the mess. Gina went above and beyond with a sense of humor and understanding. I would definitely go back

Staff was great!

The room we finally got was just ok and Gina quoted me a reduced price for the inconvenience, but when I went to check out, they quoted me a higher price again. They made it right but I spent time at the front desk at the beginning of our stay and on my last day as well. They made it restaurant us not open on sundays and it’s just that one restaurant. For 2 days we never got soap to wash your hands in the bathroom sink, I finally had to ask for it. A lady complained about the roof coming down in the room. I will never stay here again. Total waste of money, not worth it.

This is our second stay at the El Dorado amd it is an excellent stay as expected

Floor was dusty/dirty. Room was dusty all over. Check in was very nice, other staff were not always friendly. Way overpriced. Some valet personnel were nice and friendly, others weren’t.

We encountered rain during our stay and this room offered a spacious place to relax. Even though we didn’t use the pool the temperature was like bath water.

Good housekeeping

Very nice front desk staff and great location! The cleaning crew for our room was just ok. That’s not too big of a deal but just noted. Loved the rooftop pool and cold water in the lobby.

The location My room was not ready until 5 :30, I reserved a king but was given a queen room without any explanation.

More of a convention hotel. Bar in the lobby closed at 9. Not much in dining.
