Overall, I would describe the Eldorado’s atmosphere as “austere.” Not a lot of personality for such a high-end hotel; definitely not “cozy.” But it is clean and spacious, with multiple options for a drink and a spa. Staff were unfailingly gracious and friendly. Location is fantastic: in addition to being right off the plaza, I could walk to many restaurants, cafes, the train station, bike rental, etc. The room was large and the bed comfortable. I did have a small deck, but there were metal plates screwed to the top of the railing; they appear to have held flower boxes in the past. I understand why the flower boxes were removed (too much maintenance), but seeing the empty metal plates just emphasized how lovely the deck probably used to be. Overall, this is a fine place and for many, especially couples and families, it’s likely ideal (if you can afford it). But next time I’ll look for another well-located but smaller hotel with a pool. Or if I were in Santa Fe for just a couple of nights, I’d choose a smaller hotel with more personality and no pool over Eldorado.

If you’re a fan of Santa Fe (I am) and a fan of being directly in the middle of town, this is the spot. Great rooms, rooftop pool and hot tubs are awesome, solid staff
-
Great location downtown can walk everywhere. Patio room with private patio right off the pool is wonderful. Very clean hotel with valet parking. Excellent and friendly staff.

Loved the room and the hotel is close the city center.

We loved our 1st room and we loved our 2nd room. We extended our say but decided to move rooms closer to the pool. They made it seamless!! We will definitely be back soon!! 1st room was on 3rd floor and corner room with balcony. PERFECT! Second room was pool level five steps from the pool entrance and you have yhou own little court yard. FYI. During the summer the pool area and the pool level can be busy with kids. I have nothing against kids (2 of my own and grandchild). But if you are having a romantic getaway for two. You might want to ask for higher floor and the corner room with balcony. We loved it and everything about Sante Fe, NM. We will be back!!!

Just lovely. Great location, super clean, comfy bed, fluffy towels, felt very safe for this solo woman traveler. Would stay here again.

Hotel was nice, close to downtown. Pool area could be larger to accommodate more guests. The hot tubs were great.
-
The staff and service were impeccable.

The hotel has all we need and more. We did not use the spa, pool, and exercise room, but the breakfast was perfect, open early. Room was spacious and had wooden floor. The safe was located on the floor, and impossible to use.

Great location, within walking distance to Historic Plaza and town. Big lobby with nooks to talk or read. Fabulous spa. Great pool. Nice sized room. Parking valet staff sometimes overwhelmed by number of cars needing to be parked or retrieved at same time.

Beautiful hotel. Everyone so friendly. Clean spacious room. Great location. Loved everything about the hotel.

Very nice hotel! We were only there for a night and didn’t get to take advantage of all of the amenities but still had a great experience. Very convenient to the plaza area of Santa Fe. Minor things we encountered were an inoperable TV in bedroom and a slightly clogged shower drain, but they didn’t distract from the experience. All staff that we encountered were very pleasant and friendly.

The hotel was beautiful and clean. The valet staff, bell people, and bar staff were amazing. The front desk young man was unfriendly and seemed like he didn’t enjoy his job. We had a great time and the location is superb — so close to the plaza. Will stay here again.
