first encounter was staff behind check in desk, staff was amazing. Second encounter was valet, amazing staff. Third encounter was hospitality staff, all are amazing, what a friendly and welcoming hotel! Thank you all for your hard work!

The staff was extremely helpful. We had 2 e-bikes that they were able to lock up in a special room off the lobby, which not only made them more secure, but easy to access.

We have stayed in the property many times, and we had one bad experience this time in particular; we had a room that seemed that was lacking furniture, some furniture seemed very old, some new and just some large spaces that seemed that lacked accommodations. One day we didnt received housekeeping and on the evening that we reach the counter to ask for it they told us it was our fault because we didnt tell them that we wanted housekeeping everyday (we were never told about it), the clerk wasnt very helpful nor accomodating; though they charge you with the famous (or infamous) resort fee everyday. There were many new staff that continuously let us knew, but we think they should be better prepare to know the basics of service before getting to it. This hotel was much better on the past, I only hope that they are reinventing themselves, because if not, the hotel experience of it may get quite below.

Phenomenal hotel - perfect location - can walk to everything near the Santa Fe Plaza, but still a couple of blocks away so you don't get the noise and crowds. The staff was absolutely incredible at every turn - from the front desk to pool bar to maintenance staff - they treated us like we were the most important guests they'd ever had.

The staff at the hotel was the real standout. Everyone was friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. They’re clearly proud of Santa Fe and the hotel. Truly the best team!

The hotel is dinged up; the tiles in the two rooms where we stayed were coming off the wall; there is a mold line where the shower walls met the shower basin in both rooms. The carpets are all very very filthy in ALL the hallway, esp on the 2nd floor where people are going to the pool; the pool pad on the chairs are filthy; many are ripped. Food service trays sat in the hallway outside room doors for 24+ ours. Garbage and dirty cuts on the tables in the common area for 24+ hours. Please read the sanitary food inspector report on the hotel kitchens (published in the last week of August 2026). Very bad report of filth. Elevators filthy. Staff friendly - no qualms there but the hotel really needs an upgrade.

The Eldorado was perfect for us. A short walk to the Plaza and other shops, restaurants etc. We used the pool and jacuzzi quite a bit and found them clean, not crowded, we were the only ones! I had to leave a day early and I had booked on Expedia, but they didn't charge me for that final night. Though they could have. So they get a big bravo this was very considerate of them.

Room was clean, could use a little updating. Pool was fun with good drink service. Cava bar had no tapas, disappointing.

1. It is difficult to relax in a room, where there’s a comfy chair, but nothing to put one’s feet up, no table no footstool. The room could be a little better furnished. 2. In spite of no warning about this, Valet parking is NOT 24-hour but goes off at 11 PM leaving a single security guard to park cars, which is a nuisance when you have multiple guests all returning after 11pm, having been to the opera, something which happens in August and which the city is famous for. A half dozen cars sat on the ramp to the garage for 12-15 minutes before we gave up and abandoned the vehicles. Upon demand the front desk later credited the resort fee for the day in question, but seriously? For one month of the year doesn’t it make sense to staff that extra hour, pay a little overtime, according to what is going to be a likely need, given this city’s famous annual opera festival? The hotel slips from being a resort to a motel over things like this. Well, that and the fact that the bar and food service hours are very limited.

Santa Fe style comfortable hotel. Got a room on the pool floor. Avoid that because pool guests see into your room.

love the location and the overall ambience of the hotel and the rooftop pool. ..disappointed in the room this stay. Shower had grungy mold on the entire base of the shower stall and normally there are 2 bath/spa robes in our room in past visits. Nothing this time. Why? Also, the entire pool deck was not very well attended to ...many lounge chairs had used towels on them and no attendant to keep it tidy and usable for guests. Sloppy and unkept.
