What I appreciated about The Sage: a comfortable bed; breakfast in the morning; the bar & patio; the bus to take you and pick you up from the town square; the pool; laundry facilities and ice water dispenser at the front desk. The main building with registration seemed the best maintained. We felt rooms could be updated a bit. The floors in our room and tub appeared to look dirty. Not sure if it’s because of age and wear and tear or not cleaned. One of the cloths dryer was not drying properly. Vent probably needed to be cleaned. Seniors, be aware no elevator. All stairs to second floor. First floor rooms, you will hear the people above you. The Sage met our needs. Would probably look at other places if traveling back to the area. Just okay.

Good value for the money. Good location. Decent breakfast for free. Clean rooms. Small but nice pool. Small gym, but useful.

If you are planning to stay in Santa Fe, do yourself a favor when booking and book this place for your whole stay. It's well worth the cost.

The stay was pleasant nice rooms and great location

I had a generally good stay at this hotel. The room itself appeared very clean, the service was good, and everything else met my expectations. However, there was a noticeable downside regarding the air quality.Upon entering, there was a somewhat strong, sour odor that reminded me of a wet dog or unwashed feet. After looking around, the smell seemed to be blowing directly from the A/C unit, likely due to trapped moisture or a filter that needs replacing.Aside from the persistent musty scent, it was a pleasant stay. If management cleans out the ventilation units, I would gladly stay here again.

Property needs an upgrade. Feels worn. Killed a few small black ants on the bathroom counter. Front desk staff a little rough and not super organized. That said, it was a great rate and good rate so, all in all, I'd stay here again. At a higher rate? Bo.

What a great boutique hotel. The staff and management were so welcoming and attentive. It was so nice having a bar/restaurant on site. The location is so convenient to the plaza area. Will definitely stay here again!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great. Evening music at the restaurant was very enjoyable. But unfortunately, the room we were given was pretty much like an old Motel 8. I heard not all rooms were like ours, so it could be just a matter of luck. I wish they could at least do a better job at housekeeping. We found a blob of hair in the bathtub. We could stay another night in Santa Fe, but decided against it.

The room was very comfortable and the location was walkable to the farmers market and other great downtown locations.

The best choice we made was to stay at the Sage Hotel! Everything you need and central was perfect and the breakfast options was perfect! I have nothing but to say perfect because it was clean and cozy and I will go back just to stay a little longer than just the weekend! Choose the Sage Hotel you will be more than just satisfied!
