This place has a great vibe. Beds were comfortable, bathroom clean, good water pressure in shower with consistent temperature. We shared a plate of Nachos on the patio at the onsite restaurant, and I enjoyed a nice cocktail. Breakfast offerings were excellent with a good variety of choices. Nice pool area and landscaped grounds with sitting areas. Had a downstairs room and it sounded like a herd of elephants was above us, but it is what it is. This will be my chosen hotel for all future visits to Santa Fe!

Trash bags left outside my room after cleaning crew was done for the day. Swimming pool had no clean towels nor were the dirty towels collected. I was told I needed to call and request a refrigerator for my room. That is not the case, they all have refrigerators and microwaves. This was communicated with the property and I was given an apology. Perhaps a discount for our next stay to ensure we will return. Sage has always been our place to stay when we road trip to Santa Fe. Questionable now

We had a great stay here at Sage! We were close enough to downtown that we were able to walk to a restaurant and enjoy the warm evening. The property was quiet and there were plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy the sunset. Will definitely be on our favorites list!

There was an awful check in clerk called Cory. I was a bit early for check in but he refused to serve me. Even though I had waited in line, he told me to stand aside. There was only one person after me. And even after serving that person, he still refused to get back to me. Awful person. Zero stars.

So I just stayed overnight but it was awesome, I've never been to a place that encourages you to socialize with the other guests I mean they have karaoke nights it was fun definitely will stay here again when I come back through

Now, to the not so great…we were exhausted when we arrived and as we started to get settled into our room, we started to notice things that made us pause. First, there was makeup smeared on the towel bar, then fake eyelashes on a folded up towel. But the worst was climbing into a bed that was gritty and hair all over one of the blankets. Thankfully, we were able to switch immediately to another room which was much better but still had its faults. The property management is definitely slacking and needs to put more time and energy into keeping this place top notch because it’s very charming. We were not the only ones during our stay that had issues with the cleanliness, as I heard others in the lobby needing to switch as well. They also had the pool closed for inspection. Not ideal with two young kids. Breakfast was a plus and the food from the restaurant was pretty good, but again, they obviously need to hire more people because they couldn’t deliver to us in our room due to the bartender being the only one there.

The main reason we stay is comfortable bed and pet friendly. The room wasn’t ready when we arrived so we went to the social yet the housekeeper was so kind.
-
Excellent service at the breakfast buffet, keeping everything clean and stocked. Will stay here again whenever back in Santa Fe.

Great location, the hotel is fine. Pool was closed by the state but it didn’t impact our stay. Very walkable to coffee, food, shopping, & parks.

The Sage is a low-budget hotel for sure so if you just want to have a bed to sleep in, it is OK. The room itself was very minimal with poor lighting. Bathroom amenities need upgrades. The dining area was very unkept with garbage overflowing. Every time I tried to call the front desk, no one would answer.

Had to be moved to a different room on the first night because of air conditioning reasons, but the staff was prompt and helpful and I deeply appreciated how expeditiously they made moves for us. Location is excellent and overall the hotel was a good stay for the money. The exterior could be kept up a little bit better (the front part of hotel was great and the inside of my room was clean. It was a bit noisey early morning (other hotel goers). Overall, I’d stay there again.

I'll add a few photos I took on this stay from around the Plaza. I took the hotel shuttle there then walked back through the Rail Yard.

Clean easy to find comfortable! Nothing, great place!

Conveniently located. We enjoyed the Social and the live band. Food was good. Especially the free breakfast. The patio tables along the pathway were a nice touched. We enjoyed hanging out there after Social closed. Bathroom wasn’t completely clean. There were a couple strands of hair in the bathtub wall and floor.
