We loved staying at this location, it was easy to walk to places and also to park the car and drive further around LA. The pool was lovely and great to have this outside our apartment. The only negative comment is the smell of the swimming pool was quite strong and you could smell it through the kitchen windows.

Awesome location in Santa Monica. Vintage old school charm of the hotel, with the swimming pool at the center of the courtyard. Good size room for a family with young kids.

property was a great location . short walk to the beach was amazing!! the property itself isn’t bad, it’s bad that on all bookings online it says these rooms have AC but when you finally check into your room there is no AC. its summer, it’s hot out so nothing was fresh, i asked about it to the front desk 3 times and they said they didn’t know but to keep the door open so the room gets fresh. Very disappointed because we got away from homes hotness just to stay somewhere where it was hot as well.

The room was very cleaned and staff were really helpful. The room had no a/c.

Liked the comfort of the beds. Size of rooms are the best part. Pool nice, could use a touch up. Staff is always amazing!! Aged rooms. EXTREMELY LOUD from the alley construction out your room window! No AC, but that's just preferred for us.

Location Everything else

The studio was adorable, spotless, and had everything I needed. The kitchen was equipped with a stove, oven, refrigerator, and freezer, plus all the basics if you wanted to cook. It also had a dining area, living room, a good-sized closet and dresser, and a desk, making it a great space to get some work done. My apartment is actually smaller than this studio, and I kept thinking I wished I lived here because I loved it so much. ;) The pool was warm, relaxing, and surprisingly quiet. I live two blocks away and have walked by this place hundreds of times, but I had no idea there was this little jungle oasis so close to home. I only wish I had stayed here sooner. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone I met, from the front desk to housekeeping, maintenance, and who I believe was one of the owners, was genuinely kind and helpful. I thought I had dropped a diamond earring down the bathroom sink, and the maintenance team didn't hesitate to take the sink apart to try to help me find it. That level of customer service really meant a lot. Exactly the relaxing getaway I needed. I'd happily stay here again and highly recommend it to visitors and locals looking for the perfect staycation.

The property was in a good location. We enjoyed the pool. The carpet seemed a bit dirty. Quite noisy but then that is to be expected in that location.

Unique property. Great location. Spacious room, living room and kitchen. It seems like these were apartments converted to hotel room. I would stay again. Thin walls and ceilings and could have better blinds.

It was real nice , the lay out was really cool . The rooms were huge and the place was really laid out in a cool way The alley was noisy
