Beautiful well maintained property within walking distance to many shops and restaurants

Lovely hotel, staff is extremely nice and helpful. Coffee was great in the morning. Front patio is gorgeous and no better pals en to have coffee and enjoy relaxation

What a beautiful gem a few blocks from the Promenade and the beach. The setting is fantastic and the room with lots of old charm. The room had a little eat-in kitchen, a large closet with make-up area and a large room. Many opportunities missed to make it elite with plastic covering over vintage penny tiles coming up, shower fixtures rusted, some other funky touches. But it didn't diminish the overall feel of this beautiful building.

Personnel could be nicer. The shower on the third floor is terrible.

Maison 27 is a nice Hotel with a Classic Old Hotel Vibe. Unfortunately the amenities and service did not measure up. There were no luggage stands in our room, the lighting is poor, and the curtains do not function well. Furthermore, we were excited about enjoying the nice Lobby and garden, but were unable to do so due to a wedding which closed off those spaces at 9 am. Also, no notice of the Wedding was given, although they had sent emails before our stay about whether we wanted additional services. All in all we were disappointed with the Hotel.

We loved the charm of the hotel overall, the rooms were extra spacious, and the vibes overall exceeded our expectations. Also, loved that every room had a clothes steamer. Highly recommend, we'll definitely come back.

Gorgeous building in a great location. Beautiful foyer and gardens. Breakfast was lovely. Room was great and well presented. Only downside was it was small and the shower was super tiny.

eclectic and rich in history and would make me feel like I was in a small Tuscan village, and while he close to the beach so in that regard I got exactly what I wanted. The room itself was very clean and quaint while still feeling luxe. The neighborhood is slow and quiet and if you’re looking for a relaxed area that pretty much shuts down at 10 for business then this is your place. My biggest complaint is the way my initial deposit was handled, I was told that my upfront hold when I first checked in would be $145.00 and instead they told me it would be $600.00 it’s not so much about the cost rather than I would just have like to have been told that upfront and it clearly stated which it was not, I will say I’m not sure if this lands on the hotel or Expedia but in my opinion it’s both. The front desk concierge while very nice and polite just didn’t meet my expectations for hospitality,I will say they accommodated my frustration with the deposit as best they could and I full realize they’re just doing their jobs and were never not kind. NOW my highlight of the stay is their food and beverage for breakfast, I drink a lot of coffee and this was some of the best I had in LA; you could just tell the beans were high quality and it was properly made. Avocado toast is a MUST try. The reason I WON’T stay here again is the room maintenance, this is a boutique hotel and I paid good money to have my room cleaned when requested or fresh towels and bedding which did not happen several times

This is a hidden gem of a hotel!!!! Perfect in every way - convenient, old world charm in the perfect section of town - walk to everything!

Magnificent rooms, old Hollywood charm, old school staff

Beds are so very very comfortable. Hard to get out of them!! Loved this place. Would definitely stay here again.

close to the beach

This is such a nice hidden gem!! The property is GORGEOUS, the staff was so so kind. I got one of the larger suite rooms and it was incredible. Very charming property and the decor is lovely. A perfect little European feeling getaway near the beach.
