I really loved this property and wanted to stay longer that is just how nice the hotel is. Shower is massive and I loved everything about the hotel the fridge the tv was a smart tv. I had a balcony room so I enjoyed that as well. I think it was really cool how the drapes went back with a push of a button.

Great location for staging to see the surrounding area. Highly recommend.

The hotel is beautifully designed and its decor is trendy, with lots of chilled public spaces which shout chillax in every area. Top interior design shines through. The staff at the main desk were helpful and lovely, as were the restaurant team. Room was beatifully appointed. Airy and spacious with lovely modern bathroom, stocked fridge, plenty of device charging (including USB-C…thank you!), huge TV and welcoming decor. The gym is excellent - even with a reformer Pilates machine and Zwift static bike. Final shout to the parking valet team, always quick and helpful. We won’t visit often as we’re UK based, however we have already booked again for one night before we head to Coachella Festival next April.

It was ok. Not worth the price IMO. Room looks good from far but was beaten up in areas, tech in the room was glitchy, amenities are alight but felt cramped. Area is meh.

The parking and food at the hotel were astronomical. Severe enough to make me not stay there again. Two meals (dinner for 2 and break for 3) in the hotel and 5 nights of parking was $1000. Hotel was nice. Walkable to the beach and promenade if inclined.

This is a fantastic property, and anytime I am back in LA, I’ll be staying here.

We love staying at Santa Monica Proper. It’s a great location, easy in/out. All staff members were helpful and kind. The pool is a highlight and was particularly tranquil between 9-11 AM.

The rooftop pool is great. Staff up there are very attentive and great at their jobs. I also liked it wasn’t too busy and was private. Overall, this hotel needs to really address the severe customer service issues. I would t bother staying there for now until reviews improve. Not worth the higher price point sadly.
