Excellent staff, premier location and nice accommodations. Did not like the $150/night incidental charges, or the $55/night parking fee (deducted from incidentals). But the location was unbeatable.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool area was clean and spacious. The rooftop lounge was beautiful.

We stayed in the superior room 2 bedroom ocean view. The old grimy windows are not noise cancelling from busy street traffic and not all had blackout curtains. Outdated lighting setup where no switches worked and the master bedroom had minimal lighting in general. The room location was poor being right outside the elevators and waking up to staff pushing carts around at 5am and general elevator traffic/usage throughout the day into late night. TVs don’t have live programming making it impossible to watch big sporting events like the world cup and Wimbledon in our room. Tub laid in the middle of the master bedroom but no TV was odd. The other bedroom had its own TV. Expected more paying for this suite. The building/room was barely 3 star quality. Staff and location is 4 star quality

The entire staff was AMAZING!!! Great amenities (pool, spa, outdoor games such as ping pong & cornhole, outdoor bar & wood fire pizza oven, cafe on site, gym, plenty of outdoor & indoor seating, etc), welcoming atmosphere, helpful & friendly staff, wonderful ambiance & good vibes all around. The interior & exterior of the property was pristine. Our visit exceeded my expectations. Everyone we encountered from valet, check-in counter, cafe, housekeeping, pool bar, groundskeeper ALL had wonderful customer service & seemed to truly want to provide a great experience from start to finish. The food was delicious… especially the turkey pesto sandwich, crepes & specialty coffees. The location was ideal!!! Right across the street from the beach with easy accessibility & a short walk to Santa Monica Pier. There was shopping nearby & plenty of restaurants to choose from. I especially liked that there were only 2 chain restaurants (Raising Canes & Starbucks) & the rest were local spots with great ambiance. The location was in a safe neighborhood & very clean surroundings. The room & bathroom were larger than I anticipated, and the bed was so comfy. It was a great value & I highly recommend. If I could give our stay 10 stars, I would!

It was right across from the Santa Monica coastline. The room was spacious with a separate living room and kitchen area. Nice pool area and coffee/breakfast area as well. Great walking to the Pier and lots of places to eat.

The location in Santa Monica was unsurpassed. Terrible coffee in room, coffee shop in hotel open only from 10 to 4, “roof bar” never seemed to be open, no food or drink available at pool.

We loved the pool and the location. The rooms were very spacious and the balcony was especially nice The sofa bed wasn’t comfortable for kids.

The EDEN is a gem. If you are in between on places to book for your stay in Santa Monica area - look no further. Starting off with how friendly and accommodating the staff is, to the beautifully landscaped pool deck and huge spa followed by the coffee bar in the lobby and the art deco decor/details throught the property. We felt that everything about The EDEN perfectly jived with our needs. Cant wait to come back!

Beautiful property with ocean view. Cool rooftop bar and excellent pool area with hot tub, bar and outdoor wood fired pizza oven. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and in constant contact to make sure my every need was met.
