Ocean View Hotel

Everything was good except the coffee pot in the room didn’t work. I believe it needed descaling.

Comfortable but minimal for what travelers need. Not recommended for tourists

Withney the receptionist was awesome kind and caring solved any issue and very helpful l. Cleaned the room nicely every day. We had a beach view from the room which was perfect A lot of shouts & noise from the outside during nights where windows were open. However, It's the neighborhood and not the hotel fault

My friend's first time seeing the Pacific Ocean needed to be special. The hotel was amazing! We had an easy time with check-in and check-out. The bed was wonderful and the shower was very good. The balcony overlooking the ocean was PERFECT!!! I will recommend to anyone wanting this kind of experience!

Exceptional

Great staff and everyone has been super helpful and friendly. The hotel is located within walking distance to the pier, third street and downtown. The rooms are clean and it’s pet friendly. We had a great visit!

Balcony: ocean view balcony provided excellent views and is what you are ultimately paying a premium for. Location: excellent - views overlooking the pier and beaches. Very close to beaches, pier, downtown trains, and third street promenade.

All the staff were very kind and helpful. Perfect spot to stay for the beach and the pier. Great view from our balcony. Nice to come home to a quiet room after a long day of exploring.

Charging 80 dollars to park when you’re a guest of the hotel is a bit much.

I booked a room with a balcony, and it was the deluxe room seaside. Once in the room, the room was very small, and the balcony was even smaller. They had two chairs on the balcony but in order to sit out on the balcony with my wife, we had to move both chairs inside in order to completely open the door. Then we were able to move the chairs outside and sit down with the door fully open, but you could not stretch out your legs. The bathroom was also needing repairs, and it was difficult to connect my phone to the TV to watch programs. Once connected, the internet was slow so my programs would not play at times. After checking out, I noticed I had additional charges for bike rental. I told the stuff I did not know about the bikes, and no one never told me. I was told by staff it was in the contract, I signed it, they could not remove it and, I should have read it. I told the staff I would have liked to have known about the bikes that I could have used and I was paying for. Another thing was the Valet Parking. I was charged $85.00 for Valet Parking per night. You do not even get the option to park your own vehicle. The Ocean View Hotel was very overpriced and a bunch of hidden fees. I have stayed in better and nicer rooms then this one. This is my very first back review, and I will not be staying at the hotel again.
