Instead, we parked in the city’s public lot around the corner. It was only $20 per day, with a maximum daily charge of $20 if you parked for five hours or more. If you left the lot and came back, the clock started over, but even then it was still far more reasonable than paying $68 at the hotel. It honestly felt like a money grab. I think the hotel should either include parking in the room rate or charge something much more reasonable. This was my only trip with my kids, and instead of enjoying our vacation, I was worried about every dollar because that unexpected parking fee would have taken a big bite out of our food budget. No family should have to choose between paying an inflated parking fee and having money to enjoy their vacation.

We got the Ocean View Room with Balcony- a must! Hotel is across the street from the Santa Monica Pier. You can easily walk over. Parking is mandatory valet for $53 and they have an additional "Resort Fee" but both are worth it for this amazing location. Front desk gave the kiddos a free sand bucket and Frisbee that we used at the beach. The hotel also has Beach Towels for your use. A tour guide shop is right next door to book all your site seeing and get on the Big Bus Tour. only minutes walking from the Third Street Downtown area.

Not the front The pipes creaked in the bathroom super loudly. Sounded like a 100 year old house The coffee machine on the commode didn’t say that I would be charlen for the pods used , I thought it was complementary. They charged me

Location is amazing. Good restaurants nearby although they are all a little pricey. Very short walk to the pier. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Mini fridge but no microwave. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Shower had great water pressure. Parking is a little pricey but felt very secure. Didn’t opt for a beach view room so I can’t speak to how good the view is. Overall, we would stay here again

Fantastic location. Within walking distance to Santa Monica pier with tons of restaurants walkable as well. Great California feel to the hotel and kid friendly. Highly recommend

Super convenient for the pier and the beach. Also, for bus stops to Malibu, for example, and the hop-on hop-off buses.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel room was a good size and we enjoyed the ocean view. It was also lovely and clean. Sadly, the beds were not very comfortable. We could feel the springs throughout the mattress. The two double beds also were too small and should not be suggested for a family with 2 kids as this really was not something that can accommodate families. The room could easily accommodate 2 queens and this would suffice. There is a lot of noise and light being located so close to the Main Street of Santa Monica. Black out curtains instead of shutters or in addition to the shutters would help. Overall our stay was not bad but the hotel could make a few tweaks to make it substantially better.

Excellent location right on the beachfront. Hotel is beautifully maintained and close to all the amenities of Santa Monica.

Ocean view was awesome, staff was friendly and helpful.

Cons: The property is in need of repair. The room was mostly clean, but there were water bubbles in the bathroom by the tub as though there had been a leak. The tub was scratched and stained, and the calking was dirty and mildewed. There were also stains on the furniture in the bedroom and spots on the furniture that hadn’t been cleaned which looked disgusting.
