The only downside is the lack of self-parking, but convenient public parking is available over the road for a maximum of $22 per day (resets at midnight).

This is a lovely hotel just steps from the Santa Monica pier!! Upon check-in we were told that we can borrow beach chairs, beach towels, football, and soccer ball and boogie boards, and lots of other things to bring to the beach! The room was lovely and clean. The pool is very nice also and very nice chairs to lounge in. The only thing I would note, especially if you’re traveling with children - this has nothing to do with the hotel and it’s nothing against them, but there’s a very large homeless population in Santa Monica and around the hotel. I witnessed many of them doing d r u g s in broad daylight and I didn’t feel totally safe walking around there. Especially with a child with me. This isn’t the hotel’s fault, of course but just a note for our families traveling to beware that Santa Monica has a very large homeless population and the entire area smells like urine outside. But outside of that, it was a great day and the hotel is lovely.

Can't be beat location - walkable to everything in Santa Monica. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Restaurant was delicious, albeit pricey.

It was a nice stay with walking distance to the beach and pier. Cleanness in it with very polite staff.

Parking is horrible. $65 valet is the only option. Rooms were super super small. Location was superior! Worth it for the location.
