This hotel stay will forever be one of my favorite stays. My daughter’s and I had a girls vacation. The staff were so amazing!! Especially Hovah and Eddy!! The maids and the grounds keepers were awesome!!! The best stay ever. Safe and clean!! Thank you to the staff for making our trip and extra special one and one that will be a memorable experience!!

The main person working the front desk charged me twice for parking and refused to refund after showing him the proof of payment. Other than him our stay was great. Just don't lose your parking pass 🙃

The room was hot

The property is well located and very close to the beach. The rooms are no frills but very clean. Parking is available at an extra cost.

It was a good hotel. Perfect location. The parking spot was basically in front of my room and that was good. Shower was tiny. And the AC was not big enough for the room. But overall was a good stay.

Needs to have a better parking lot

Room was awful during summer, absolutely miserable heat and no air conditioning. Couldn’t sleep at all, must have been 80 degrees in the room overnight. Bathroom was disgusting, tub was clogged and had had to stand in dirty water while showering. Tile was dirty in both shower and on floor. No parking was available, had to park 2 city blocks away in a dirty city parking garage.

The customer service was just as disappointing. The front desk staff acted like helping guests was an inconvenience. We even had to ask twice for an extra roll of toilet paper before anyone provided it. To make matters worse, there was a police arrest next door during our stay with yelling and screaming late at night. While I understand the hotel can't always control what happens nearby, it added to an already unpleasant experience. When I asked if a partial refund was possible because of the repeated electrical issues, I was simply told, "Sorry, the manager won't be back until Monday. You can call then and see what he does." There was no attempt to make things right or show any concern for the inconvenience. Overall, the lack of customer service and the constant maintenance issues completely overshadowed the great location. I would not stay here again, and I would not recommend this hotel!!

Great location. Comfy rooms

Didn't receive my refund horrible place
-
The parking was the only dislike, you literally have to park your car like 4 blocks away in a parking garage!! And I wish the front desk would of explained to me i needed to unload everything I needed out of my car, because once you park it.You can not just run back to your car if you need something.you literally have to walk like 4 city blocks

Great space easy access to the beach and pier! Clean cute room and easy parking if there lot is full!

The beds were incredibly comfortable, location was amazing, and room size for a family was spot on! A/C and better parking. Being so close to the beach, there was a nice breeze with the windows open and fan on but being so close to the pier and beach there was a lot of noise from outside we heard throughout the night because of the windows being open. Shutting the windows really isn’t an option as the room gets pretty muggy quickly. We traveled in July.

This great little motel that is situated steeps from the water and the Pier. Not luxury by any means, but clean and funky if you aren’t into cookie-cutter style accommodations. If you are going to freak out about paint flaking in the tub, and there being no fan in the bathroom, then skip this place. But if you want an affordable option with a comfy bed, AC and a very casual vibe then you’ll love this place. Staff are super friendly.

I booked this placed based on all the positive reviews it got but this “hotel” was horrible. The worse place I have ever stayed at. The shower was tiny and gross. The AC unit was in the bathroom and barely reached the bedroom and to top it off, we were sharing the room with a giant cockroach. Oh wait theres more, first night I found BLOOD on my pillow, fun. I thought we would have a straight shot to the beach but the front gate leading down was always locked. If you wanted to go from the hotel you have to go up some stairs and down even more stairs. Then you reach a door that only opens from one side. The only good thing about this hotel/motel is proximity to the beach but even then its not enough for me to ever book this place again.

3-person family with a 10 y.o..We spent 2 nights in a jr suite on the ground floor against the front parking lot facing the street. Besides being *extremely* convenient to the beach and all that the area in Santa Monica has to offer, the room was charming, pristinely maintained, and with its tile flooring perfectly suited to being beachfront. Our only moderate quibbles: (1) Sound carries almost seamlessly into the room from both above (not great with a family of who-knows-how-many stomping around, moving luggage, and vocalizing loudly late into the night) and the street -- both to be expected in this area catering to local nightlife and tourists . (2) The wall a/c in combination with the ceiling fan was surprisingly sufficient to make the room very comfortable, during a severe summer heatwave no less -- but we found out to our (and the front desk's) surprise that using it at the same time as the hair dryer tripped the breaker, causing us to lose all power in the room. Easily remedied, but you'd expect properties these days to be beyond that. Knowing those things, we'd still love to be back.

When we checked in we were asked if we had reserved parking. Didn't know we needed to. So the first night we had to park a few blocks away in a parking garage. The check-in clerk was rude. The room was clean, comfortable beds. The beach was only a block away. Fortunately we were able to pay for and reserve a parking spot the next day. The parking lot is incredibly small and the cars are very close to each other.
