For the price, I expected a larger room or a fridge with actual space (it was packed with items for sale) and a microwave—and no gym? The staff was very friendly and the place is nice, but I expected more for what I paid.

The hotel's location is one of its biggest highlights. It's incredibly convenient, you can easily walk to the Santa Monica Pier, the beach, Third Street Promenade, and countless shops, restaurants, and cafés. We barely needed our car because everything was just a short stroll away, making it the perfect place to enjoy everything Santa Monica has to offer. Between the outstanding customer service from Manny and the unbeatable location, Shore Hotel exceeded our expectations. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santa Monica.

Loved the location - close to the Pier and restaurants. Hotel atmosphere and condition is great. Staff were all pleasant and very helpful. One of our rooms wasn’t ready and we were offered free champagne while we waited, but it was only 15 minutes. I would definitely stay at this Location again.

We also spent two days at the Huntley following our stay at the Shore, and found the staff were more attentive and on top of their game. Hugo the gentleman at the front desk provided us with a wine and charcuterie board as an anniversary welcome gift even though we spent our actual anniversary day and night at the Shore, and they charged our rental while we ate dinner. You do not stay in a hotel for such niceties, but gestures go a long way toward satisfaction, memories, and stars. None the less we would stay at the Shores again it's beautiful.

Great view. Spacious room. Pool temp was key. You could stay in long term. Then the added cold plunge and spa were really nice too. Great staff. Great restaurant. My future go to in Santa Monica for sure

They never cleaned the room. The only have a small pool. gym is 4 blocks from the hotel. The elevators don’t work. Terrible
