Hampton Inn Santa Rosa

I wish I could give zero stars. Terrible location. Very overpriced. Gross breakfast and dirty rooms.

Upon arriving we found the lobby to be under construction. There was a huge centipede just outside our room and the door to the outside was propped open. The room was not cleaned - trash in the trash can, room not vacuumed, and crickets in the bathroom. It was a windy night and it whistled through the A/C vent all night. Our stay was further worsened by my kids and wife sneezing all night because the hotel is "pet" friendly. We asked for another room, but we were notified there wasn't another room similar and every room is pet welcome. Thus we suffered through a sleepless night in a situation that the hotel could not fix even when notified.

The hotel was under construction and I’m extremely disappointed I paid what I did for that experience. The ice machine didn’t work, the treadmill was broken, the door to our room didn’t properly close, the beds were uncomfortable and the tvs didn’t work. There were flies all over the breakfast items.

Friendly staff and close to food and shopping. Not too far from the swimming hole either.

This property needs some attention. Overall the property looks decent but has an unpleasant odor.

Undisclosed pet fees on Expedia. Pet fees inconsistent between first and second stays. Only grassy area (I get it, it's in New Mexico so not a lot of grass) was signed to keep pets off. Parking lot needs resurfacing; otherwise, it's difficult to push/pull luggage carts. We won't stay here again.

Clean. Helpful and the most amazing breakfast. This is where you want to stay when in town or passing through.

Convenient Nothing

Close to the interstate. Hotel could use a little updating. There was only one elevator and it was slow.

It Needs renovations. Had one elevator. Needs another elevator. Dog area needs grass not gravel. Needs to be cleaned. . Needs better mattress and pillow protectors under pillow case. Pillow's were old. Curtain had a bad worn spot on it. Ice machine was broke on second floor. Very inconvenient. Not enough handicap parking. Breakfast was good. A/c was working good. Could have got a much better room elsewhere for the price.

It was a place to sleep. Wasn't impressed by the cleanliness. Property was very worn and in desperate need of updating and remodeling.

No one at check-in desk where I had to wait 20 minutes. Did not get my Hilton Honors welcome water. Fridge froze all my food. Dog poop all over the grounds. I love dogs & travel with mine, but grounds staff has to be aware not every dog owner is being responsible.

Breakfast had everything needed . Both hot and cold food choices. Well presented . Check out quick and simple .

Both the bedroom area and the bathroom were very clean and well stocked with bath necessities. The shampoo and conditioner are great. Breakfast was very good.

Nice clean room. The staff was friendly. Only negative I have is they charged a $25.00 fee for incidental damage. I was told that this charge would be refunded after my stay, which has not yet been refunded.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay after a long day of driving. Very clean room & bathroom. Comfortable beds. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. We would absolutely stay here again!
