Extended Stay America Suites - Boston - Saugus

Hotel is being used for extended social uses. No amenities in rooms. Not even paper cups.

Walking into the room, I was instantly hit with a horrible, foul smell. Looking around, things only got worse-there were visible mold spots, and the room was filthy. The bathroom was disgusting and looked completely uncleaned after the previous guest left. To top it all off, the towels and bed linens were not even freshly washed-they were covered in someone else’s hair! This is completely unsanitary, gross and unacceptable for any business hosting guest. Management should be ashamed for these disgraceful conditions. Save your money and stay away from this place!

Clean room

Expedia overbooked the property, so my family of 7 had to down grade and sleep in two queen size beds.

Arrived to check in late to find out the hotel was overbooked and unable to accommodate us. No explanation why this happened despite getting a confirmation of the booking the day before. Even two people in front of us had the same issue. You would think the hotel would have contacted the people to let them know there was no room ahead of time ! Never again would I try to book here.

Dirty rooms, no staff at the desk, no breakfast

I am from out of town (Hudson Ma) I have family in this area my niece whom I am extremely close with is out of school for the summer and come to the Saugus area and spend some time with her she suffered a tremendous lose of her Mother my Sister Nicole who was killed by a careless driver who was speeding and he struck and killed her in Boston while she was crossing the street in a crosswalk, she had the right of way and was she was killed on impact. I come to the city every year on the anniversary of her death and I spend the summers with my beautiful niece. I rented a room at the Extended Stay in Saugus and everything was fine minus a couple small things like cleanliness and full trash cans outside with seagulls have a massive feast. I locked my self out by mistake and needed to get another key at the seat and the manager Bryce gave me a really hard time about my ride hewas asking for my drivers ID and wanted him to fill out a form and I stated that I wasn’t comfortable with that because I’m the only one staying in the room so im the only one I wanted on my paperwork but hey wyd insisted I was lying and that I had someone staying with me in secret. Hey wyd have me the 3rd degree and said hey wyd was going to check the cameras and prove I was lying I felt very intimidated and I was made to feel like I was doing something wrong, I was in tears and i started to have a anxiety attack and hey wyd just kept on questioning me and calling me a liar. I was so embarrassed

The staff are good and ready to assist.

Breakfast was basic and parking fine. Room smell weed.

The room was filthy of animal fur. The bed sheets were dirty, both top and bottom bed sheets. The roll of actual toilet paper was dirty and so was the shower curtain. Called room service several times and they wouldn't pick up. Also waited by the front desk and it took them over 5 minutes to walk over to me. Staff were not all friendly.

Two out of the three rooms they gave us smelled and we’re dirty. When they changed our rooms, one of the bathrooms did not even have a shower curtain. The amenities didn’t work. And the entire building smelled like wet dog.
