Holiday Inn Express Boston - Saugus by IHG

The staff were extremely nice and friendly from the minute we arrived. The room was clean and comfortable, we brought body wash and shampoo, not that it was needed as its provided in every shower. Nice little perk. We noticed the pool was open from 8-8 which is nice. Will definitely stay there again.

Room was clean, plenty of space. Breakfast was above average. Entrance and parking and walkway is not convenient to main lobby. Outdoor pool and surrounding area is industrial, shabby appearance. No area whatsoever to sit outside. It’s just a room, no more.

Clean and quiet

The room’s door was open and lights were on when I checked-in in the middle of night. It was so creepy, someone had used a stopper to kept the door open. All the lights were on. It is the kind of room that connects to another room with the door from both side. I did not want to go in, but it was almost 1am in the morning and I have to leave at 5 am, so I just slept with my clothes on, kept all the lights on all night and got out there first dawn.

Nice clean hotel just outside of Boston. Everything you’d expect from Holiday Inn. Nice clean rooms, friendly staff and easy access to central Boston in 20 mins by car

We had an issue that caused concern. Manager was excellent in his manner, tone and wish to resolve the issue. We felt listened to and not pressured. Booking.com listed the accommodation closer to the airport than it was. Forbus it wasn't a huge issue for others it would be problematic. 35 in an uber.

Super clean Minimal parking

The location of the room is great and not difficult to find. The staff was very nice and helpful in suggesting places to eat and visit. The breakfast has several options, including oatmeal and some fresh fruit. The coffee was excellent. Some general common areas are a bit used-looking, however, the friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of our room made up for it.

The room was perfect - given my disability, without even asking, I was provided a first floor room close to amenities and the dining room. Perfect!
