Jennifer and Marcus escorted me to my room, graciously carrying my overpacked luggage along the way. 😀 The surroundings were quiet, peaceful, and serene, offering beautiful spaces for private reflection, meditation, or simply gathering one’s thoughts. Every question I asked was thoughtfully answered, and each staff member I encountered offered an abundance of wonderful suggestions for exploring the magnificent city of Savannah. Through my extended conversations with the staff, I could genuinely sense that they took great pride in their work and truly enjoyed caring for their guests. The Eliza Thompson House is also perfectly nestled within Savannah’s Historic District. Many memorable sights, restaurants, and attractions are within easy walking distance, allowing you to slow down and truly appreciate the beauty of your surroundings. I wholeheartedly recommend a stay at the Eliza Thompson House—and I am already adding a return visit to my future itinerary. Take care, wonderful souls. Chaz

This was an amazing property. We stayed here for our honeymoon and had the best time. Beautiful hotel, walkable to a lot of sites and the added amenities were great! Will definitely stay here again.

Great hotel and the location was perfect. We experienced one paranormal event right before leaving! Saw a bright flash of light in the room not long after discussing that we weren’t sure if our specific room had ghosts.

We can only compare to Presidents Quarters, where we usually stay. Chatham 110 is dark and dated, with a noisy humidifier running. The hotel is very conveniently located. Breakfast was pleasant but uninspiring. Coffee was always tepid. Dessert was super.

Hospitality at its finest! A great 3-night trip to Savannah. The Eliza Thompson House is in a perfect location. Very beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Easy walk to all the main restaurants, riverwalk and shopping. Could not have asked for better hosts. Wine and cheese at night along with desserts before bedtime. Alo the breakfast was excellent. Will definitely stay here again.

    Beautiful room. Comfortable bed.

The staff of the inn were very nice and the living room has ample snacks and cool games. I'm not a clean freak, but the place really really needs a good scrub. The bathroom in the lobby has a vanity that is thick with dust - icky. Then when I spilled water in the living room, the paper towel I used to wipe it up cameras back black! The breakfast was sparse and just not special for what you would expect.

Love my stay, warm staff and great food and evening snacks. Definitely going back!

Street parking only, however, they let you know that beginning Friday evening, parking is free until early Monday. We had no trouble finding parking nearby on the street and paid nothing. But if you are coming during the week, that may be a different story.

The location of the building was very good , a easy walk to the Historic downtown and to the river front, no noise, tranquility road . At our arriving, the staff was very nice and helpful, we booked a ghost tour from the Hotel , Brian, our guide was wonderful, very knowledgeable and trustworthy, we recommend strongly his service ! The breakfast was a little disappointing : potatoes very hard (overcooked), we chose a glass of grapefruit juice but it was disgusting (the grapefruit for sure was too old) ! The location (open patio) was nice though . For the price, the room didn’t live up to expectations : I like to take hot shower , no hot water in the shower , the shower curtain was dirty (a glass/plastic door for a shower is cleaner) , the bed was way too high , I know it’s in order to put your luggages under it but as healthy as I am at 60 years old , I had to stretch high in order to jump into the bed !! I couldn’t sleep well because of the air conditioner, it was so loud ! And the location was terrible , just next to the head of the bed !! Bad idea ! To end with a positive note , the wine/cheese/sweets treats was a nice detail .
