Bellwether House

We loved all the thoughtful extras the Bellwether offered. Afternoon tea was a wonderful treat, and the complimentary evening champagne toast was an unexpected highlight. During the toast, we enjoyed a great conversation with one of the staff members, Paul, whose hospitality made the experience even more memorable. Breakfast was delicious, and the entire property is beautifully maintained with plenty of historic charm. Our spacious room and the inviting front porch made our stay especially relaxing. We loved everything!

The breakfast and all the other amenities were great. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. The location made it very easy to walk to the various squares and scenic areas.

The service was wonderful, tea/coffee time and champagne times were very enjoyable. Breakfast was great. The staff was always accessible and did their best to help out with any questions. The room I paid for was not the that was given to me. They did credit my account, still waiting to see the credit appear. However, they should have moved me into that room or given me another time to stay in that room. They tried to make it a big deal that I had the largest bathroom in the place but that was not what I was looking to get out of staying at bed and breakfast. Then I find out I had to pay additional money for the breakfast/parking after the stay.

Such a beautiful house and so well maintained. Very comfortable room , the High Tea and Breakfast were fantastic. Totally enjoyable stay.

Historic, beautiful property in the heart of some of the most beautiful historic streets in all the nation. It’s an old building so we had issues with a toilet, but staff moved us into another room. They also ran out of slippers when they moved us so we had to walk in the cold floor.

That its a historical place with lots of charm! Our room was nice, but needed a lot of attention to details on finishing up Repairs, several items that need to be completed. The toilet was running in the our bathroom and no cold water in our sink, the bed was not made up properly and the floor was dirty upon arrival. The back door to our room was very hard yo open and close and lock.

The location and staff were great. The room was so much smaller than it looked online and the breakfast was not very good.

The property is absolutely feels like home! Exceptional clean and cozy with a vibe, the stuff is friendly and accommodative . Special thanks to Paul ! Love this place and will be back again.

We loved the central location (20min walk to most touristic places), historic character of the building, lovely stuff and breakfast. Special thanks goes to Matt who went out of his way to get me gluten free breakfast and made me an omelette with vegetables. They also have free gourmet coffee on site throughout the day and free good quality champagne at 6pm and unlimited water. Shower was amazing too with great preasure. 100% recommend Mattress was a bit soft and you could hear every step of people walking above us from 5am. Suspect kitchen was above our room. But these 2 would not change our recommendation - we loved bellweather house.

Comfortable beds 5 G cell tower right behind the property, no table in the room and had to go outside to get to the common area.

this Inn is Historic, right in the historic part of the city which makes it very easy to explore by walking all the landmarks. It is cute, has the elegance of old. Great breakfast and wonderful friendly staff. Given this is a 149 yr old Inn some of the infrastructure needs constant help. Initially we were given a room in the basement. Great room but had a smell of mold. They had air purifiers but I could not get over the smell. Staff was wonderful and moved us upstairs. In the new room there must have been a slow leak of water from the air vents as we found our bathroom waste bucket with some water in it. I could see the air vent being held by tape to the ceiling.

The breakfast every morning was amazing! Everyone who works there is extremely kind and enjoyable! A short uber or 15 minute walk from the bars and restaurants.

Many items ran out at breakfast or were not available.

We like everything about our stay except the fact the a/c in room 5 was inadequate. We couldn't get the temperature below 76* . And sleep was uncomfortable A/c

It was a charming and beautifully maintained home.
