Loved it here so much!! The people opening the doors were so nice at the front and the check in staff was amazing! We had an issue with the AC but they did the best they could to fix it.

The staff was exceptional throughout our stay. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making sure guests had a wonderful experience. Their hospitality truly set this hotel apart. The restaurants were outstanding, offering delicious food, creative menus, and excellent service. Every meal felt like a special occasion. The amenities throughout the hotel are top-notch and thoughtfully designed, creating a perfect balance of comfort and elegance. We appreciated the attention to detail in every aspect of the property. The location is another major highlight. Many of Savannah's best restaurants, shops, historic sites, and attractions are within walking distance, making it easy to explore the city without needing a car. Hotel Bardo perfectly combines luxury, comfort, exceptional dining, and outstanding service. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Savannah. A true five-star experience from start to finish! 🌟

The layout is well designed. The rooms are spacious and scream luxury. From the moment that you walk in, you know that you are in for a great stay. If you're staying for a weekend and want to visit the spa, my only recommendation would be to book your spa visit ahead of your stay. I really hate that I was unable to experience their body scrub. The small touches meant a lot i.e. complimentary car service, bike rental, board games at the pool, and fitness classes just to name a few. Less than 30 minutes from the airport and situated perfectly, you won't be disappointed by the experience Hotel Bardo has to offer.

Amazing

The light in the front entrance of the room where the room bar is located can not be turned off at night, thereby not providing complete darkness in the room.

Stocked and clean. Staff was friendly All around. Franklin gave us a ride to dinner and was awesome. One of the best hotel Gyms ever. Tons of cool little nooks to hang out in with a cocktail from the bar (thank you Pedro for the Clover Club cocktails last night). Pool was was nice and didn’t seem overly busy or crowded.

The location was perfect and the pool really helped in the heat. The staff was polite and attentive. A baby nextdoor to our room crying.

Top dining - beautiful mansion - great amenities.

I have stayed there before and the improvements are noticeable.location is perfect The bar area remains very dark . This is the opposite of modern and kills the mood. It is hot there and your choice to be inside is limited to your room or a very obsolete dark bar. Staff is okay some people were great. But some were terrible. They are trained but their answers sound fake, not genuine. The restaurant, Bibiana staff is just okay

Amazing hotel and great staff

The property is attractive and clearly markets and prices itself as a high-end hotel, but the service falls well short. The main problem was not simply that things went wrong, but the indifference when they did: almost no apologies, little sense of ownership, and nobody once asked how my stay was. At check-in, with only one person on reception, I waited around 15 minutes while a complicated multi-room booking was handled amid loud confusion. On departure day I was locked out of my room at 10.00 a.m., despite an 11.00 a.m. check-out. Reception could not fix the key, had to send someone with a master key, and offered no apology. At the bar, staff were often more focused on conversations than service. On two occasions, a bartender stopped making my cocktail for around 30 seconds to continue chatting, then seemed to lose track of what they were doing. Poolside service was equally indifferent. A few minutes before 7.00 p.m. I was simply told that last orders had gone, with no attempt to help. The pool area was chaotic, with children taking over loungers and using cushions to build play castles, while dirty plates, half-eaten food, glasses and wet towels were left around. Finally, the valet took my keys while I collected luggage, then disappeared; nobody knew where they were, causing another 15-minute delay. Hotel Bardo looks and charges like a luxury hotel, but the staff do not seem to understand what high-level service means.
