The Gastonian, Historic Inns of Savannah Collection

The property itself is beautiful! We stayed in a ground floor exterior room and the smell was extremely musty and wasn’t very clean.

Beautiful room, extremely comfortable bed, fantastic breakfast and afternoon nibbles We had to walk outside to get to the rest of the hotel

It’s in excellent shape and decorated very nicely. The water faucet in the bathroom .There is hardly any water pressure .

Never have I ever.. had such great bites and a choice of 6 wines for a 5 pm snack moment. Also, the house is gorgeous, the location perfect and the service top notch. Nothing comes to mind

The staff were very welcoming. Unfortunately we had some very noisy people for 2 nights above us.

Excellent b and b. Very comfortable room. We had a balcony which was lovely to sit out on at the end of the day. Generous wine and canapés each evening plus cake later in the evening. Great location for walking around the historic area. Great for free parking on the street too. We loved our time in beautiful Savannah. The staff were all excellent and so friendly.

The Gastonian has wonderful, large, individualized rooms. It has a really friendly and helpful staff and provided a fantastic breakfast. Little “extras” were also provided, such as late afternoon snacks with wine and evening dessert. Overall, a lovely experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Nothing

Staff were great. Warm, welcoming, and provided good advice about restaurants and walking tours. Historic charm was paired beautifully with modern comfort. We were there during a winter cold spell and having a working gas fireplace in our room was the cherry on top. Everything about the hotel was special except the food. Breakfast and afternoon hors d’louvres, which were ok, didn’t rise to the level of the rest of the hotel.

Location! Historic site. Breakfast was wonderful and the cook was friendly and we had such a nice chat with her. The staff were so helpful and even carried our two bags up 2 flights of stairs! Room was very quiet and the neighborhood fun to explore! Thank you, Gastonian! Everything was awesome!

Housekeeping These folks went over and beyond the call of duty, before, during and after our stay at the Gastonian. They also had champagne and glasses on ice waiting for us in the room to celebrate, that's a first class operation, for which we thank you all Nothing, all was perfect!

They need to organize a porter service ( will be happy to pay for it) for luggage. My husband almost died to carry the suitcase to 2nd floor

It was all very nice and the staff was very accommodating. Only negative to my visit was the jets in the tub didn’t work as far as I could tell.

bed was comfortable,breakfast was good,staff friendly (RM 203,Tomachichi)bathroom was small and a little worn looking,blocks of wood glued and screwed to the wall to mount towel racks in there looked very cheap(come on guys,how hard is it to properly install towel racks in a $350 a night hotel?)Saw no nightly desserts setting out,had to ask staff to get us something
