I reserved a King suite based on the features listed, the main attraction was an additional sofa bed in the room. My mother has mobility issues so the sofa bed would have been low enough for her to sit, lay, and sleep comfortably. Unfortunately this suite was located on the 2nd floor, and with no elevator available on the property, she was not going to be able to traverse a long staircase. The staff member at check in was able to relocate us to a handicap room on the 1st floor. This room certainly did not have the same features as the King suite I reserved initially, and I had to pay an additional $40 at check in for a lower quality room. I suppose the handlebars in the bathroom were the 'handicap' features. It was a double bed room. Unfortunately the beds are so high that my mother was unable to even get in the bed, let alone sit on it. Handicap guest rooms should have accessible beds for guests, they are entirely too high. Couple this with the large dead spiders, some kind of live roach in the bathroom....this just wasn't a great visit. Also, the toilet was broken and required two separate staff members to get it working by the second day of our stay. I was also told that the tv was a smart TV. It was not. Good thing I carry a Fire stick with me when I travel just in case - the WiFi carried enough signal so we could stream some shows and movies. The staff was kind and helped the best they could. And the pool area was nice - the trip highlight. 4/10 trip rating.

The beds were comfortable. I slept well. The breakfast was sufficient.

Everything, smelly, dirty, bugs, I felt so disgusting there! Scared all night

I went to get breakfast at 8 and put everything in my car. When doing so, I noticed a homeless man following the cleaning lady and digging thru trash cans. When eating, I remembered I left a monster and an open bottle of water in my fridge. When I went to get it, my room was wide open and monster was gone but at least he didn't take my water.

Breakfast was not it was expected the staff were rude

The room could have used a complete make over. The television didn't have work. The air-conditioner was very noisy.

Next to Cracker Barrel Uncomfortable beds, dirty carpets, moldy bathrooms, don’t feel safe

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

Our room was very clean and smelled nice, breakfast was basically toast bagels and cold cereal, yogurt. Very low priced but a nice place to spend a night.

While the room itself wasn't up to standards, (mold, stains on sheets, EXTREMELY hard beds) the staff were nothing but helpful throughout the entire process.

It was clean and quiet No complaints

The stay was okay, but they definitely have some maintenance issues that they have to work on.

Convenient location from the airport and midtown Savannah.

Breakfast was just right for the price of the hotel, and enough variety. Good coffee. The carpeting on the bedroom floors. Needs to be modernized.

Unfortunately, this day was not very pleasant as it was a very old building, everything was sticky in the room, walls, falling apart, furniture, very old and lack of cleanliness

No pool and breakfast could have been a little better

The staff was rude. They canceled our reservation even though we communicated we were having issues while traveling. Apparently, they "do not utilize the communication options on booking.com." They made us do a whole new reservation which resulted in us being charged twice and now have to wait for a refund on one. I wanted to pay with cash but was told they do not allow that unless you agree to pay a $100 deposit. The room smelled and was dirty when we arrived. The hotel is definitely older and needs updated. We are a family of five, two adults and three children. We traveled all night so we wanted to shower after we got some rest before going to see the fireworks. After our kids showered we had no more towels. I tried using the phone to call the desk, and the phone did not work. I sent my husband to ask for more so he and I could shower and they refused to supply us with towels. Check out is 11am, and they were knocking at 11:01 asking if we were staying or getting out. We were double checking the room before leaving. The bed was not comfortable. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did nothing but make noise. We usually stay in motels/cheap hotels because honestly we aren't there for the room but this one was pretty bad. Don't waste your money.

Room so filthy smelly. Ac and refrigerator didn’t work. Some of weird smell was coming from ac. Staff was noncooperative. Took out the breakfast while guests are still eating.
