The location was excellent. The staff made you feel like you were part of the family. Scarlet, Kara, Gracen and Brandon were great and gave good advice on what to do in Savannah. There is a small courtyard that was very peaceful and relaxing to sit out side. Nothing

The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The location was convenient and walkable. I thoroughly enjoyed the garden patio for breakfast, etc. Very charming! The convenience of on site parking was a welcome addition. My only complaint was the extremely soft mattress.

The cons - single pane windows (three in our first floor room) let all the noise in. You hear everything. There were no blackout drapes, only shutters. You could hear all the noise from people coming in and out entrance, reception, breakfast area of the hotel. The room door did not seal with light entering from three sides. SAFETY We wish the room had safes and card keys. The rooms are accessed using easily replicated house keys. We ended up missing $300+ in cash, a very expensive medical device that looks similar to a iphone and a small vile of pills (that was hidden in a small fabric packet) - all that we would have placed in a room safe. We called about the missing vile and noticed the medical device and cash an hour later. Since they denied finding the pills, we figured they would not find our "other " things. The new hotel owners are going to close the hotel for 2 years shortly after our stay. They will cannibalize a small parking lot to build an 50 additional rooms. This large building will loom over the courtyard, it will lose most of its privatenes, light and serenity. Hopefully, they will rectify the peeling paint and delayed maintenance that was noticeable during our stay. Mattresses, bed springs, windows etc., bed linens need to be replaced.

Fantastic size room, amazing breakfast and lovely, friendly, helpful staff. Nothing

Everything, but especially the wonderful staff, Gracen, Kara, Scarlett and Brandon, who were so warm and welcoming and helpful. And kudos to the chefs, Kandra & Hilda for the delicious breakfasts. And of course loved their “Manager Meowy”. Wish all of you all the best in the future.

We’ve stayed here twice before and loved it. Must be under new management. Not as warm and friendly as previously. The outside doesn’t look as unkept. We always come for the fancy wonderful breakfasts, that is no longer. Biggest disappointment.

Great location. Beautiful home and neighborhood. Staff were so accommodating and nice.
-
This is a gorgeous “old style” place that we loved. Breakfast and coffee were exactly what you want The blind in the room didn’t really block the light, as we were facing the rising Sun

The location is in a great place very close to everything we wanted to do. Will definitely be back.

Staff was friendly, helpful, very welcoming. Could not ask for better experience with staff. Parking lot is awesome for downtown parking convenience. Location is awesome for sightseeing. Breakfast was limited in choices but was tasty. Building is in need of serious cleaning and repair. Ceiling paint peeling, windows frames rotting and moldy, no comfortable chairs in room, no couch, bed is so high that steps are provided on one side. I had to step on side board on my side and launch up to the bed to get into it. Bed was way too soft and had divots as very old mattress. Carpet is old and needs serious cleaning. Over half of light bulbs out in elevator. Arm chairs in room had dirt caked onto arms. Dust everywhere throughout building, never gets cleaned. Small scratchy bath towels like in a Holiday Inn. Heard people walking and talking on street below us up to 3am like we were right next to them even though we were on 3rd floor. For $500 per night I expect better.

Beautiful property. Excellent staff Nothing

The team running the establishment were extremely friendly and helpful. The room (102) was very spacious and contained everything required for a comfortable stay. It was also very reaonably priced ... a bit of a bargain and it had great character. Room 102 is located on the ground floor close to the kitchen and reception area and it is possible to hear guest/staff conversations very early in the morning ... not ideal if you are a light sleeper. Another point to mention is that the "run" from the hot water tank to the taps in the room is lengthy and it can take time to obtain hot water.

Staff was outstanding, friendly and dedicated to making sure we had everything we needed. Breakfasts were works of art and delicious. Evening wine was a nice touch. Spotless room was very comfortable. Wonderful location, easy walk to river and parks and restaurants. We liked everything!

Nothing great worst out of all the places we have stayed The room was noisy, very loud outside our room had a hard time sleeping
-
Charming hotel! The staff was warm and friendly as well as helpful in giving good suggestions and directions for Savannah. My husband's parents spent their 75 anniversary at the Presidents Quarters many years ago. THe furnace in the room was loud!!

Breakfast was beyond our expectations, the entire staff was excellent and a great location. It was a walking distance to all the historic areas that we wanted to visit. The parking is free compared to other hotels in the area. We have our pet with us, the room was clean and it smells nice. There is a small park right next to the hotel to bring her for a short walk and do her business. The bathtub shower head needs to be replaced in the room that we stayed. This was a very minor concerned compared to everything else about the bed and breakfast.
