Looks great in pictures but property is desperately needing a facelift. Old but not in antique way, paint, wallpaper, carpet and furniture all in need of replacement. There are ZERO amenities. No paid parking with stay or voucher given. No breakfast, or ANY vending AT ALL. Plus side: Great location ,most of the staff was lovely and helpful in exception of night time clerk who would not assist in booking another night and told us to use third party booking company (not helpful at all),housekeeping after being told no service was needed kept returning and knocking on door. Would I stay again, No. Not worth the money for the hotel quality and no amenities.

Staff was incredible!!

Property is tired, but staff are always pleasant. We've stayed several times over the years but this time was sad. The room was beat up, rather filthy (we spilled a bottle of water and put down a towel to soak it up and the towel became brown with dirt). The bathroom ceiling was water damaged. Several mold spots. The elevators were mottled with weird paint, dents, and they smelled. In fact our hallway and room on 4th floor reeked of industial cleaner, paint, or some harsh chemical that burned my nose after a while. Bed was so lumpy and parking garage lights just glared in despite heavy curtains. The property just is not what it used to be... it needs love.

This is an older hotel, and has some older hotel things (small tvs, could use new carpet); however, I would stay here again for the price and incredible hospitality. Our corner room had plenty of space to enjoy our wine from the well-hosted happy hour. The hotel is right on one of the squares and is just a couple blocks from everything.

Awesome location. Free wine and cheese and piano player in lobby everyday.

Valet parking was quick and courteous. But we parked on street as space was easy to find for each day. Used valet the last day. Very cold A/C when outside it was 95 degrees. Piano player was great. Wine in the room and wine and cheese in the lobby was above board. Good mattress with Hugh bathroom and great shower pressure. Was impressed with cable TV channels and with guide. For those not sure where this is, it is block and 1/2 from Bay Street and river, one block to Leopolds and Broughton. Everything is walkable. Price was very reasonable for 4th of July.

Friendly and professional staff. Quant hotel, Perfect location to all the attractions and restaurants. We had an AC issue in our room and Marylin moved us to a new room immediately.

This was my first time to Savannah and I had no idea what hotel to book. I was so pleased with my choice! This hotel was classy but comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and full of helpful info. The wine and cheese hour was a nice touch. Location was phenomal! We parked the car upon arrival and didn’t need to drive until leaving - everything was within walking distance. And dining across the street at the Olde Pink Restaurant was icing on the cake!

It was a great experience staying there! Its also close to the River Street, City Market and other landmarks!
-
It was exactly what I needed!
-
So convenient, clean and the staff was over the top helpful. We pulled up, unloaded and handed the keys to the valet. Everything is within a few blocks and so walkable.
-
The hotel was perfect, It was very clean (except for the worn rugs and upholstered chairs in the room). The staff couldnt have been any nicer, very helpful with the recommendations, and extremely welcoming. I would definitely recommed the Planters Inn, and will be sure to return the next time Im in Savannah.
