In summer when you are in the south, the AC has to work. Mine was awesome. The staff was great. The location is prime. I was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go in the historic district. If you plan on visiting Bonaventure, book a tour that provides transportation. Valet parking is available. Use only if you plan on taking your vehicle out multiple times a day. Otherwise, the parking garage is across the street.

Location, charm, convenient, historic, quiet, elegant, clean, safe area. Planters Inn is Savannah's perfect hotel. Been staying here for years.

It was close to everything that we want to do this trip. Waterfront, 3 minute walk, street restaurants very close, entertainment location was great, Two large parking garages within a 3 minute walk. Prices for them were a little high, but not to badly. Everybody was super happy that we were there an helped us often. Great weekend Hotel for having a great historical and Southern Hospitality good time.

Great place with Old World Southern Charm. Building is old, so inside showed some wear. But the experience was well worth it. Staff were excellent.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Room was clean and comfortable.

Hotel is historic but super charming. I will be back!!!!

Very close to everything

They offer valet, which we declined. Staff sent us to the same parking lot their valet uses, which charged $25 for a few hours we were parked. We found a lot less than a block away that charged $5 for the entire night. Seems shady that the staff would send us to the overpriced lot without mentioning the significantly less expensive option

Parking was directly across the street and self parking was reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to my requests we had. I would definitely stay here again in the near future!
-
It was average… with such great reviews I was expecting more so a bit disappointed
-
Drag racing and loud music started in the parking garage across the street around 10pm and didn’t stop until around 4am. Don’t stay here you will regret it!

No pool, refrigerator or ice machine but staff very attentive to deliver ice. The location is ideal and historic appeal exceptional.

Came to Savannah on my birthday trip and everyone on staff from the moment we got there was amazing. I was with my husband and we had a friend with us. The only issue we had was our room was a lot smaller than the solo travelers and our room also did not have a fridge but everything else was great. I read a lot of reviews that said the hotel was noisy but we did not have an issue at all with that and our room looked out to a parking garage. Bedding was soft and the shower had good pressure. This hotel definitely has that cute vintage charm to it that we wanted. Also the night desk lady Christina is AMAZING! She was so helpful with us when we needed directions or places to go, honestly we 100% will stay here again when we go back to Savannah. Also the Pink House is right next door and a super cute square right across the street. Lots of fun bars within the walking block if you want to stay close!

Planters Inn was a wonderful historical feeling hotel. Loved the ambiance and the location was perfect for dining, shopping and a short walk to the river. The staff was awesome. A special thanks to Carl who was so kind and friendly to us!! What a wonderful person to have working there! Patrick was awesome with check in and a pleasure to talk to. We will be back.

It was an adequate room. The property could use a little love overall, but it was a great value and we enjoyed our stay. It was one night the staff were super helpful and very kind.

Planters Inn wins our highest ratings in every category. The location is superb. The staff members are all extremely helpful and professional. We especially enjoyed the unexpected afternoon wine and cheese reception in the hotel lobby with your wonderful jazz pianist. What a treat! We booked through a third party and did not know the parking arrangements until we arrived. There is also no mention of parking on your website. The adjacent private parking garage is very convenient, but unexpectedly expensive at a minimum charge of $32 per day. Again, though, the front desk clerk was very helpful in explaining, with a little creativity, how to avoid that charge by parking on the street. Overall high marks to Planters Inn.
