Reviews

My only complaint was the breakfast was sub-par, not commensurate with the quality of the hotel or the price I paid for my room.
-
Great old place. Loved the evening wine and cheese events.
-
Great hotel, great staff, great city. Great stay.
-
Great hotel! We enjoyed our stay very much. From breakfast, ( which is amazing!) To the wine socials the staff was amazing at making us feel like we were home! Our room was clean, the balcony was very enjoyable and the claw foot tub was just a polite added bonus! We will be back.

the staff was great

Staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. Room was on the small side ( king bed room). If you spend any time in the room, the only place to sit is on the bed. Social hour in the evening is a nice touch. Location is great - walking distance to anything in the historic district. Interesting historic artwork throughout the hotel.
-
Great location to walk everywhere downtown
-
Historic ambiance with modern comfort. EVERYTHING was great about this place. The "resort" fee actually is well worth it, with hospitality hour, fantastic breakfast, cold water. Valet parking reasonable considering its perfect location, easily walkable to most everywhere. Friendly staff
-
Great stay! What a cool historic building on the strip! The harpist that was there for happy hour was amazing! Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly!
-
Excellent central location, fantastic balcony to sit out on watching the world go by. Only the second hotel I’ve ever stayed in that has a cheese and wine evening every night, it’s a very nice touch. Numerous very noisy street racers start from early evening (not an issue up to 10pm) but they kept going through to 3am. Surprised the police do not stop them. Also a few cars that must have received some big speakers for Christmas and liked to share them with the entire street, again until 3am

Location location location! No outdoor balcony
-
Free wine and cheese. Location was good. Breakfast wasn't that special
-
The staff was very courteous at all times.
-
The location was close to all the places to see The air-con in the room was very noisy
-
The service in the breakfast area is wonderful. At least 3 ladies were waiting on us for anything we might want. The desk staff and valets are ready to help for any request. We stay there often. Great local entertainment - music, trivia, history.
-
Great staff. Helpful and welcominy
-
The location was great. The whole experience was next level. I have zero complaints. Fantastic stay
-
Loved the Hotel! Didn’t like the room we stayed in. It was too small and the air conditioning underperformed. Additionally, the room was in the back next to the garage with bright lights on all night. The window blinds barely blocked the light out. Sleeping was very difficult.
-
Martha at the front desk was awesome! Very knowledgeable and enjoyed interacting with her. Little pricey but we knew that when we booked
-
This was our second time staying and was equally great. The location is central to a lot of attractions.
