The location was perfect, food and drinks were good and everyone working there was so nice and helpful!

This is our favorite hotel we actually was there the first week they opened over a year ago. The hotel is beautiful, accommodating and such a peaceful stay. The rooftop pool and bar is also amazing. You will not regret a stay here.

Beautiful room and lobby. So much character, clean and comfortable

This place was incredible. We have been to Savannah many times. This was the nicest hotel we have stayed in. The staff was incredible. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect. The rooftop pool was perfect on a hot afternoon. Will definitely be staying here again!!!

What an amazing stay! Beautifully decorated all around. Comfy beds. Great shower. Location is amazing! Both bars were so special. And even the rooftop bar as well! As 2 locals this will be our new go to date night spot. Can’t wait to return!

We stayed in a lovely corner suite, which had great views, but an odd and impractical floor design, which involved a long path to get from the bedroom to the bathroom. The front desk staff was consistently helpful, and always replied with a smile. However, we found the front desk empty multiple times and had to chase the clerk with the restaurant staff, which is not what you would expect in a premium, 5-star hotel. Our biggest complaint is with the housekeeping staff, which unjustifiably skipped cleaning our room for 2 days during our stay. When informing the front desk after the first housekeeping omission, they claimed it was probably because we left the “do not disturb” sign on the door (we did not), and then it happened again, even after we had reported the first time. Later during our stay, we moved to a double room on the 3rd floor, which had maintenance issues with the main door (it didn’t close properly, and the lock was not functional) and the toilet didn’t flush properly, an inconvenience we had to report late at night, with support with the only night clerk that was also in charge of the front desk, who managed to get us a toilet plunger. Our room also did not have water bottles, so we had to go get the ourselves. Lastly, the overnight parking daily fee of $55 feels excessive, but appreciate the hotel didn’t charge for onsite package deliveries.

Very cool hotel! Everyone who works there is so nice and friendly.

The amenities are excellent and location is nearly unbeatable. This hotel has done an excellent job in the short time it's been open. I'd certainly stay at the Municipal Grand during my next Savannah visit.

Everything was awesome and every place was convenient within the area, restaurants, shopping and entertainment.

Cons: valet parking is $55/night or you have to find metered or garage parking- pain when you’re staying a week. The manager charged me an extra $25/night destination fee at the end of our stay when their website specifically says they do not charge a destination fee. No coffee or breakfast offered until after 8 am, and kitchen closes by 10:30 pm- tough not having late night menu because we were there for an event and got out late. The ambiance is an interesting vibe. I would opt for a major brand hotel next time for trusted consistency and no hidden fees.

The staff was very nice and the food in the restaurant was amazing. Rooms were clean and private. We will be staying again.

We only stayed one night, but enjoyed our time at this smaller boutiquey hotel. Very clean and updated. I didn’t really like the awkward check-in area.. but not a deal breaker, would definitely stay again.

Everything about this place was great. The staff was going above and beyond to help with everything we asked for. Location was perfect to pretty much walk to everything we wanted to do.

The front desk manager was extremely helpful upon arrival. She found us a quieter room at our request. We loved the interior aesthetic and design of the hotel. Our room was very comfortable. The main bar appeared to have only one seasoned employee. He was great at his job and very helpful. Upon future visits to the same bar, we were left disappointed by the lack of attention and detail to customer service by other staff. Especially considering how expensive the drinks were. The basement bar was underwhelming. And, service by a male employee, named Sam, left us feeling unwelcome. The pool area and upstairs bartender, a female named Sam, was a breath of fresh air. Overall, room and amenities were comfortable. Staffing could be improved with more consistency and training.

The rooms themselves are very comfortable. Nice beds, great views, comfortable furniture, and, no surprise, a well stocked in room bar if you wish to partake of that in the room. My only complaint was that the in-room coffee machine is set up for espresso coffee pods instead of a regular coffee machine. If that's not your thing, you'll have to go downstairs to the bar (they serve meals) or out on the main street (there is a Starbucks just x the street) to get your morning joe. The valet parking is pricey but very efficient. When I asked for my car, it was ready when I went downstairs for it. Don't really need the car much as the downtown core is a walkable city. I only called for it once in the 4 days I was there. Location-wise the hotel is right on the main street (Broughton), and right x the street from Leopold's Ice Cream, which has lines all day long. It is a 7 min walk to River St. Easy to get to. Great location. Highly recommended!

We were surprised to get complimentary champagne at check in. It was great to get a cold drink on such a hot and muggy day. All of the staff that we came in contact with was friendly. The pool is shallow and small but the poolside service was great.

From the ambience, to the coziness, staff, food and bar, it felt luxurious but not stuffy. This place was like a nice glass of brandy. The feel of hardwoods on your feet in the morning and the spaciousness removed the hotel feel. The location next to Reynolds Square, food, fair, etc…superb. Even the valet, perfection. Treat yourself. I’ll be back with friends….oh, and order the Mamie Taylor at the main bar.
