The bed was so hard it felt like sleeping on a board and I like firm beds. It was so bad I didn’t get any sleep at all. I rent a room to sleep, the breakfast is supposed to be the cherry on top. In this case the breakfast was the only good part of this stay. See above,

The breakfast and serving staff was exceptional! First room was freezing and there was no heat to counteract overuse of air conditioning. Second room was very far away from the elevators and we are two ok physically challenged older women!

Shower doors were dirty loud doors.
-
No hot water in our room. The carpet in our room was wet also.

Very good

Great stay, very clean hotel and easily accessible location. Air conditioning had a bit of a loud rattle but once we were asleep we didn’t notice it as much.
-
Short, flat walk from train station; new and modern furnishings; in-room coffee; helpful staff Breakfast was disappointing because hot items weren’t vegetarian appealing, but the space was nice

Exceptional

Except that we had just driven 4-1/2 hours to get there.

Worst Hampton Inn we've ever stayed at
-
My stay was good. The room was a good size, but I really didn't have an opportunity to use the amenities. I feel that the amount of the pet fee should be disclosed at the time of reservation. It was way too high. It was almost half the cost of the room. Due to the high price ,I doubt I will ever stay there again. This pup is well trained but your rates will make road trips too expensive.

I had an accessible room. It was very spacious bathroom was huge and it's was immaculate. The breakfast was really good, the staff were very helpful. We loved it.
-
Very friendly staff. Easy walk to main attractions. Check in and out were fast.

The bathroom fawcet was not working properly as the temperature of the water turned scalding hot. Even if you moved to the cold water position all the way, if you tried to get warm water, it was very hard to set. It turned very hot immediately. The bed mattress was too firm and their pillows are horrible. I’ve heard good things about Hampton Inns, but I was very disappointed with my stay at this one.
-
Great place to stay, convenient and clean. Staff was very nice and polite.
-
Clean, comfortable, free parking, close to train station and walkable to downtown. Area around the hotel a little deserted at night, but hotel itself feels safe. Room above average in comfort. Nothing, hotel met expectations in every way.

Very nice place to stay.

They didn’t allow for daily room clean which is such a cheapskate thing for hotels to be doing these days. If I’m staying in a hotel room, I want it cleaned. Additionally, they charged us full price for an accessible room. I love that these options exist for those who need it, but putting us in there sucked cause there was essentially no furniture, the lighting was weird, and the bathroom floor kept flooding. We asked for the room to be cleaned (because there was a sticker on the bathroom mirror stating that they would only clean every two days) and instead of cleaning the room they just threw new towels on the “wet” floor. Didn’t take out the trash, sweep, make the bed, or replenish soap. I shouldn’t have to BEG for service if I’m paying over 300 a night in the middle of upstate NY.
