Sheraton Desert Oasis Villas, Scottsdale

This was our second time this year. We loved SDOVILLAS in April and had to come back after a short summer in Canada. Uber and Waymo make everything very accessible as there isn’t much walkable from the resort. The staff are lovely and prompt with any and all requests! Wonderful for romance or family or some solo downtime!

Checked in Sept 10, it was smooth and the staff was very kind and accommodating. The room was exceptionally clean and it was quiet. The landscaping is absolutely gorgeous. Located in a great area. The pool and hot tub was amazing. Very spacious and clean water. The also had extra towels and offered water as well. The drinks are overpriced at the pool I will say that. A small margarita is $18. We loved our stay, would love to return.

We did have a problem at check in. They said that the check in date was changed for the following day. I used Expedia to book the room so not sure what happened there. But after maybe 30 minutes the issue was resolved. Friendly staff and easy check out.

We previously stayed at Desert Oasis and had an absolutely lovely trip. We booked through another website. We decided to return because we love the resort, the pool and the poolside bar. We were hit with a $30/day fee for parking when we arrived because we booked on Booking.com. We were basically treated like second class guests because of booking through this website. I won't make that mistake again.

We had a fantastic weekend at the resort. Check-in was a breeze. Staff was all very friendly and interactive. Kids had a great time doing activities by the pool. The room was spotless and so nicely set up. The kitchen had everything we needed to make food if we wanted to. We were extremely happy with our stay and would highly recommend the resort!

Property was nice and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful especially Morgan! The gym was very small so don’t expect to get a good workout in and drinks and food by the pool are very pricey for Canadians, roughly $45 CAD for two piña coladas and almost $20 for a side of fries. So if you’re travelling from Canada I recommend just bringing your own food/drinks as it’s not worth it. Had house keeping knocking and opening our door trying to enter at 9am on checkout day which was frustrating as checkout isn’t till 10. Overall though we enjoyed our trip and would book again at this hotel as the location is good if you have a car (roughly 7 min drive from shops and dinner and 25 min from airport however, not walking distance to anything).

We really enjoyed the grounds and the pool, and our 1 bedroom was comfortable. When we checked in, they charged us an extra $30 to park for one night. They also had signs in the parking lot saying that there is no security. The parking lot was by no means full, and with no security the $30 fee felt steep and scammy.
