My family stayed there for the 4th of July weekend. Pool was well over it's capacity and the water was very dirty from all the people in the pool. The rooms beds were very disappointing; they rattled and squeaked every time you moved and were so uncomfortable. Definitely will not be coming back and booking a room with this hotel.

Older and less classy than expected, but still a pretty cool place to stay.

This is a hotel/resort you can NEVER go wrong with! The staff is great, the rooms are well maintained and clean, the amenities are great especially the pool!!! 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️!

The hotel inside was beautiful, outdated rooms but clean. The pool and the lake were the best part. Staff were very nice. Definitely would bring family next time. The outside and parking lot could use some attention.

Thank you for another perfect stay.😊

If this was just an employee called out sick or there was a repair issue, fine, understandable. But this sounds like a management decision. Bottomline, if I wasn't lied to, I would have stayed at another hotel.

This property has the opportunity to be absolutely amazing. It fronts Scottsdale Road, and backs with a restaraunt, patio and pool to a small lake, a rarety in the desert, I booked this property because we locals and in the midst of a crazy renovation on our home, it was my husbands birthday and had spent several weeks living in the renovation. This is advertised as a resort which I thought would be a very nice respite. When we checked in on a Saturday night, around 9 or 10, everything was pretty much shut down, no restaraunt or bar open. We were told we had a pool side view, however it was a mediocre room with a parking lot view. Sunday morning when I went to the lobby to get coffee, I had to wait for the restaurant to open at 8. The staff was great and the patio sits on a beautiful small lake, however the wait staff let me know that it closes at 2 p.m. in the afternoon. I understand slow season, however marketing pics of the property showed beautiful evening dining. We did enjoy the patio for about an hour that morning, but while we had reserved and paid for two nights plus resort fee, at this point in time, we decided to check out and head back to our own torn up place, and ended up forfeiting the cost of the 2nd night, however, we were refunded the resort fee. I want this place to be better and to succeed. I told my husband it would be so nice to have dinner sitting on their beautiful lake view patio, even if we were not staying. A missed opportunity.

Overall our stay was great. The location was ideal with easy access to Fashion Square and Old Town. The private beach and lake is giving “ I’m finally on vacation and the rest of the world can wait”. Unfortunately we did have a mishap with maintenance. We returned to the room and our AC had gone out (112 degrees that day). The crew responded quickly to replace the AC unit. We were on our way to a show and left before maintenance was finished. We returned around 11pm that night to find our door open and a drill left behind. On top of that the next morning we were at the pool and when we returned a maintenance person was leaving our room with the drill. We hadn’t even reported the incident yet and they just helped themselves. I called reception and the lady was very nice ensuring it would be addressed. However, she did not offer any compensation which surprised me. With that being said the good still outweighed the bad and we extended our stay another night.

The gentleman that apparently was the manager was rude. We paid for breakfast just to find out that the restaurant opens at 12. When we asked for a refund, he stated that they would not be issuing a refund and the vouchers they gave would work at noon which was check out time. He also stated rudely that it states summer hours for the restaurant but expedia still allowed us to pay extra for breakfast in which he rudely stated was not his problem. He was very dismissive and made us feel as if we did something wrong. They had pre-made salads that looked gross available for breakfast and wouldn't allow items to be purchased with the vouchers from the mini market, we grabbed two drinks and an energy bar prior to him telling us the vouchers didnt work for the items, and though he eventually gave us the items for free, complained and stated he would take a loss and just to take them because it wasn't worth his time explaining as if we were ignorant. The rooms needed updating and the overall appearance was run down. The door lock was broken and we returned to our roon late so we literally had to place a chair in front of the door as protection so we could hear if someone tried to enter. Terrible service, terrible management and hotel.I would never stay again.

Fairly okay property, very outdated and plain Jane. I also had issues with some outlets not working and the included "patio" left a lit to be desired. Definitely very low on the list of Scottsdale hotels/resorts in the same area. Needs major updating but the staff was nice and helpful

Except for a loud waiter who was yelling loudly at a disgruntled customer at breakfast on Sunday, June 21, 2026, which was highly inappropriate and disturbing, the rest of my stay was good. I had a room on the upper floor with a balcony and a nice view of the lake and the mointains. Its too bad the restaurant closes at 7 pm and the choice of food was just poor! The resort needs to do a better job with that. Wi-Fi was a bit slow but working. Need to improve the payment process - iPhone Apple Pay is not working which is unexplainable. I had to present a real credit card which I usually do not like to do.
