Best Western Plus Ocean View Resort

This was a spur of the moment decision to stay here. We had other accommodations but were disappointed so canceled the second night there, the next place we were going to stay and booked here. It was much more than we expected. Great view, great central location, friendly staff, clean, amazing! That we had to leave!

Location next to beach and waterfront path is convenient. Very small room. Pet fee was not clearly stated at $40. Prior guests from past years mentioned $25.

There were tons of fruit flies, we encountered a few spiders above our bed looking to see where they might be coming from we notice under the sofa hadn’t swept in a while and behind the headboard was thick with cobwebs and dust. I’ve seen much better in this place and this time not was well below their standards

Room wasn't very clean and I had to sanitize it myself. The view was great but they over charge for that. The shampoo was empty and the tissue box only had a couple tissues, they should have refilled both. The hot tub was the most disgusting thing ever. You could see hairs and what I am assuming was skin particles floating in it. No jets, just a warm communal bath tub. The staff wasn't very welcoming and most got annoyed when I asked for help or suggestions. Stay somewhere less corporate, your experience will likely be better. It was nice being close to the beach though.

We booked this trip months in advanced so that we could go to Sand castle fest in Seaside 2026. On the day before the trip we received a message from the hotel saying welcome and we look forward to seeing you tomorrow. It asked if we have any requests. We responded asking for extra towels. On the day of our trip we drove up to three hours to Astoria early and had lunch. We got up early so we could hang out b there for a few hours but during lunch we received a notification that our

This was a horrible stay. I will leave out any reference to cost. And will not touch on any personal information. And although profanity is my mother tongue I shall chosen not to use it. Staff was un willing to resolve my issue of unknowingly booking an accessible room. They would not honor my bw rewards due to an Expedia booking. And the am fresh coffee was out if a keurig machine. If this is acceptable to you then fly at it!!! It wasn't for me and I wont be back.
