Ebb Tide Oceanfront Inn

When I first arrived in the evening (around 5pm), the parking was amazingly full. Since it was the 3rd week of Aug, it was a very busy time. The staff were really helpful and friendly. They carry bomb-fire packages to make s'mores (sticks, chocolates, wood etc.) and offer complimentary coffee, water and tea. I really appreciate the wonderful welcoming and friendly service. The hotel room is a bit older yet still great for families to enjoy.

Clean room, but could use some updating. Nice location with the Prom trail right in front of it to walk on

The property is aged and could use a refresh. No AC was a big drawback that I did not notice when making the reservation. Even though the climate is cool and cloudy the room was rather warm. We did open the widow, but it was rather noisy in the morning with the parking lot.

The breakfast room was well stocked and clean.

Staff was great. Everyone was great. Thank you for helping us enjoy our time here after my wife’s back surgery

The washer and dryer’s did not work with the card(s) used. Staff member had to help to use the commercial dryer. Please fix! They are needed. Some of staff were not as friendly as others. That is the main reason I left a lower rating

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location, and our room was clean and in good order. I was very impressed with the complimentary breakfast. There were lots of choices and the food was good.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. That said the property is rundown. We had a suite. The bedroom window looked out to a covered walkway with the elevator in front. Very dark and unwelcoming. The sitting room had a view of the beach however the window only opened maybe 5 inches so you are unable to enjoy the fresh air of which is much needed being that there is no air conditioning. All of the furnishings and finishes are run down, chipping or have lost volume in the cushions. The mattress is incredibly hard. We were so sore we had to cut our trip short and leave to avoid having to sleep there again. Not worth the location benefit.

Good place to stay overnight. Appears like the rooms need some renovation. Excellent hot breakfast. Good hot tub and pool. Kids loved those amedities.

No AC but the location and quality of the room, the staff, and the complimentary breakfast are unmatched! Right on the beach a few steps from the boardwalk downtown. This is the place I recommend!!

Staff was great and room was amazing! Loved the fireplace and views of the beach.

Ummm this hotel was pretty ight. Wish I had a nice view of the ocean but didn’t. It’s all good though cause at least the beach was within walking distance so I ain’t really tripping. Uhhh never had breakfast here so can’t really rate it. Ummm yeah pretty chill spot overall.

This room was only clean in the sense that the cleaning staff did an amazing job. The over all property was terrible imagine staying in a hotel that’s had nothing updated since the 1980s. Old walls, old carpet, old plumbing fixtures(leaking and rusted). Bath tube time was musing and glued on. I bet there mold all over the walls on the other side. This place was 1.5 stars at best, noise is terrible, no ac and windows locked close, no ceiling fans only dusty box fans. The fact this has 4 stars on the travel website is a testament this is all a money grab and the comments are mostly AI writing. I would never stay here again.

Great staff. Dated and smelly room and facility. Broken window screen. Pull out bed was very uncomfortable with springs felt throughout. Great breakfast.

Nice staff. Clean room. Great pool and hot tub. Little extras that were nice along with a beautiful ocean view and perfect location!

The room was clean, the staff very friendly, I would stay at this hotel again the next time I return.
