Staypineapple, University Inn, University District Seattle

Room was plain/simple but very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The desk staff were friendly. Was surprised by the ‘amenities’ charge (for booking through a third party!) given there weren’t really any amenities of note. WiFi was decent. Overall, a pleasant stay.

It is a 2-star hotel with 4-5 star hotel pricing. This is gotten away with because it's two blocks from the UW campus. The price gouging during UW move-in week was swallowed but not appreciated. Location and parking were the only upside to an otherwise dated hotel. There are no amenities beyond a pool (in Seattle) and the off-street (fee-based) parking. Hotels in downtown Seattle are far superior and only 15 minutes away.

Liked the many complimenary tea flavors offered. Clean facilities; nice people (guests and staff); comfortable bed, pillows and covers; fluffy bath towels; fluffy robes. The parking is difficult but it's not the hotel's fault that the driving pathway is a little narrow for pulling into the marked car spaces easily. Sometimes when you return too late, there is no space. That is stressful. Pool water is cold. Would be nice if it was a warm pool. One of the elevators doesn't work properly. It really should be fixed. Nice location for University of Washington visitors.

I liked having separate doonas and having coffee and cold water available. I loved the fact it was pet friendly. The complimentary drink was a lovely touch.

Staff was very friendly, the location near U Washington was great and the coffee maker in my room did a pour-over vs. the usual drab Nespresso. Very cheerful experience!

Expedia says that all taxes and fees were included in the price. At checkout we were charged an additional amenities fee of $20 per night. After discussing with the hotel staff, the fee was taken off of the bill.

Convenient location to UW. Clotting light rail station and walkable to University Village. Quiet. Friendly staff.

We arrived early for a UW football game, asked about leaving our luggage there (no problem) and ended up checking in early. Great staff, lovely room, parking is limited, but we’ll definitely stay again!

Overall, it was a nice hotel and convenient for us to visit our son and daughter-in-law. Although we did not have our dog with us, it was nice that they did accept dogs.

Great hotel with super wifi, luxurious towels and linens. I had a shower when I arrived at 1:30 am and the water was not hot. Was much better the next morning.
