Travelodge by Wyndham Seattle By The Space Needle

Location to the Space needle and monorail station. Walgreens 3 minutes walk and McDonald's nearby if you want something quick to go. A few takeout places nearby if you watch eat in the room. It has a pool and jacuzzi. I didn't use either of them but other guests were using them. Hotel looks dated. Room was clean but had a few stains on the floor. Bed and pillows to soft but that's just my opinion as I prefer a hard mattress. Air conditioning was loud so turned it on about 30 minutes before bed and then turned it off to sleep.

The room itself was clean and the location was convenient. There were several issues during our stay. The website advertised free breakfast when we booked, but there was no free breakfast available. When I asked the front desk about it, they were not helpful and did not provide a satisfactory explanation. The doors also lock when it gets dark, requiring guests to be buzzed in. One night we waited outside for around 10 minutes because there was no staff available to let us in. We called the front office number, but it routed us to housekeeping. Housekeeping told us there was no way to contact the front desk, and they eventually hung up while I was trying to get assistance. We also called housekeeping four times to request fresh towels and never received an answer or got the towels. The shower door would not stay closed properly, so we had to physically hold it closed while showering to prevent water from getting all over the bathroom floor. Overall, the lack of staff availability, poor communication, inaccurate information about breakfast, and basic maintenance/housekeeping issues made the stay very frustrating.

Very old. Black mold. Carpet trim in the rooms. Popcorn ceiling. Yellowing everything. Yucky.

The only good thing about this property was the front desk employee. He was so helpful and kind. This property is definitely run down, I expected not updated but it was worse than that. And there was zero hot water. We were told all rooms were experiencing no hot water. We decided to leave as not one person could shower. Thank goodness the employee got us a refund so we could run far away from that place.

This hotel worked well for our 2 night pre-cruise stay. They don’t have breakfast buffet like I am used to, but The coffee in the lobby made up for it

The parking was easy to deal with. The room was definitely a bit run down, beds were pretty hard. And had a very old musky smell to the place. I expected about as much for the price I got for the room. If I were to stay more nights I might have not been as happy.

Nothing spécial about this hôtel. It wasn't terrible, but for price I'd say not worth it

Thank goodness we only had one night here. While the room was clean, the hotel needed a major refresh - it is looking very tired and dated. Staff weren’t overly friendly either. Location was convenient - very close to the Space Needle and a few blocks walk to the pier where our ferry from Victoria docked. There are a reasonable number of food options close by. It was probably what I was expecting considering the price we paid. The rooms were very tired and dated.

Building is a bit tired but the staff and location are great. Good value choice.

Seeing the Space Needle From The Room Windows..

Location and availability is the only reason to stay here. It hasn't been updated since the 1980s or earlier and it shows. The room was clean as it could be but the old bathroom with moldy grout is concerning and the carpet used as baseboard material is old and dirty. The hallway smelled like cigarettes one day and cannabis the rest of our stay. Vending machines are at least 30 years old and didn't work but would take your money, I did report this to front desk.

The location was about all that was enjoyable The property needs to be remodeled urgently. There were visible mold in the bathrooms, holes on the ceilings in the hallways from leaks, the room had a smell that no matter how much perfume I spray it just would not mask it, and for some reason it was terribly humid in the room, we turned the AC fan on and it almost seemed worse. I will unfortunately never return to the travelodge by the space needle.

Some of the staff were very helpful, but the rooms were run down and not fully cleaned. And when we showed up very early to check in as the cruise we were on came in at 7 am, I fully expected to wait until check in time for a room and was happy to see they would check our bags early so we could go out without worry, but then we were told a room would be available as soon as it was clean and so we waited to get the room first and still sat there all day. We still didn’t have a room ever after the standard check in time at 3pm, and when we started asking then the new shift staff started calling the cleaning staff only got find out a room had been available for a long time! Very disappointing for the price, not to mentions it was was to costly to not include breakfast. I wouldn’t hotel or stay there in the future myself.

Had problems with the water pressure in the shower. The water came out extremely hot at the coldest setting.
