How old it was
-
It was dirty and old feeling. Weird smells. Not like the pictures. Disappointing
-
The staff was nice, and that’s the only redeeming quality. We originally booked to stay a week and left after 2 nights in favor of a wayyyyy better hotel, which was only very slightly more expensive. See photos for receipts on the disgusting conditions.

They claim this way they are saving on water and energy I had never seen anything like this before. Even the shower door couldn't get closed, it was 1/3rd open. The mattress was made of some sort of plastic. You could hear the plastic by rolling on the bed. lol

The rooms are small. There are cracks and stains all over the walls & ceilings. The bathroom is small and outdated. The shower is literally a box shower where you are sure to touch the wall every which way. There was a leak on the shower head that made it spray onto the ceiling of the shower. There were ants coming out of the AC & literal bugs on the sheets and pillows. There was also a hole in the wall next to the headboard. The button to the elevator wasn’t working on the fourth floor so we had to call the front desk to send the elevator up. My nephew called and the lady at the front desk sounded irritated and said, “there’s stairs”. Very unprofessional! The pool was nice in temperature but wasn’t cleaned very well. The chairs are all burnt out from the sun so they’re very brittle. They did let us check in early so that was nice.

The hotel location was good for visiting the Space Needle and close to the monorail. Unfortunately, our room was musty smelling, dirty, stained, and in need of a refresh/update. Our reservation was for 2 nights and if we were unable to find another room for the first night due to the World Cup. Luckily, we were able to find accommodations for the 2nd night at a different hotel.

My bed sheets smelled like dirty clothes, I hadn’t noticed it the first night because I slept on top of the sheets. Second late afternoon when I took a nap under the sheets made me keep smelling myself thinking it was me. Hand soap was mounted in the shower and shampoo/conditioner was mounted next to the sink. I had to wet my hands in the sink, turn around and pump hand soap and turn again to continue washing my hands. I cleaned the refrigerator because it was in the same condition as two weekends ago(A Big Block Of Ice w/food frozen into it. Microwave was a little dirty inside I cleaned that too. I had to pull my bed away from the wall a little to keep the multi outlet from flickering on and off. On top of that at check in the lady tried to charge my card for what I already prepaid for, which resulted in my card getting locked for a possible fraudulent charge for the 4th of July weekend. I laid a total of $1358 with taxes for two nights and it was money not well spent.

The staff were very helpful and very wonderful to work with! However, the location really needs to be spruced up and needs some attention. It was clean that needs a lot of updates!
-
It was a very poor kept hotel. The staff overcharged us for bottled water. Rooms weee small and needing repair. No breakfast.
-
Elevator didn’t work going down from the 4th floor. Outdated decor and bedding. Lack of service from staff. Their fridge with drinks didn’t work and everything was room temp. Only plus was location to space needle and lack of food nearby.
-
The front desk when I was trying to locate the property when I couldn’t find the property was rude and she didn’t care one way or the other. My room had an ant problem, no breakfast, hot in the hallways- 2- portable air conditioners that were not working. Bathroom by the elevators at main lobby was nasty and had bad odors. No value in the price I paid and for what I seen on booking site was not what I got, it looks like false advertising to me. My total experience at this property was very bad/ poor. Paying for parking to park in the parking lot was also unacceptable.

The morning/day staff is great, the night staff lacks a lot to be desired. I stayed here years ago and it was in much better shape. To be honest The Farfield up the road for about $20 more a night is a lot nicer.

Amazing place and location
-
Very outdated hotel. Lobby is very small and the restroom is as well. The rooms are outdated and small. The walls are thin and in the mornings I was woken by the staff would yelling at each other throughout the halls

We had a very unfortunate experience with this "hotel". We booked a king room with a "city view" and were put in a queen with a view of a construction site, and the Space Needle. I called days ahead to confirm the reservation and request a roll-way. The roll-away was not in the room or noted as needed when we arrived mid-afternoon. I requested one then and still did not have it by 7pm. The desk was unattended so had to wait until someone passed by to ask for it again to which the answer was "I'll see if I can find one". The rooms are in major need of an update and the staff were not pleasant or interested in helping. In addition when I called to confirm I asked if they offered shuttles from the airport or to the cruise terminal and was told "no". When we checked in there were 2 signs at the desk advertising shuttle options. The towels actually scratch your skin and we were leery of sleeping on the sheets. It was very close to a cool neighborhood and restaurant/ entertainment options and very walkable. Thankfully our stay was only one night.

The ice machines are on floor two, not a one on floor one, when we booked the room, there was a continental breakfast, which they told us they don’t do, then there was no hot water, showers were lukewarm warm at the best. Very poorly maintained. Big thumbs down. Wouldn’t recommend.

Cleanness and air conditioning in hallways was terrible .Couldn’t even breathe when you walk up to your room. Once we got to our room, the air conditioning was a little better in our room , but first morning of our day there was so many ants on a carpet in our room all over the carpet,we told the front desk, but nobody ever took care of it. We paid our stay at front desk and they told us about the deposit that we have to pay ahead but never informed us that we have to pay for parking $25 a night. I called customer service and they were very rude and told me that I could not speak with the manager, that manager is not available.
-
Front desk very rude at check in evening staff very friendly and polite. Room was clean satisfactory but not totally above a 2 star. Needs a really good renovation. Location was perfect for what we needed that’s why we booked here. Very overpriced for what we received but with the World Cup in town it was going price

Hot Tub currently out of service, which was one thing I was looking forward to about the place. 4th floor call button for elevator also went out of service during the stay. Also, there was a cheeto on the floor under nightstand, so the room was definitely not cleaned super well. Ok free coffee in lobby, though would prefer fresh half and half cream in a thermos rather than individual plastic ones. Great location by Space Needle though, but for the price I was expecting things to be working better here.

Coffee and snacks only, no breakfast. Coke and snack machines did not work. Ice did.
