The staff was friendly The breakfast was mid. My nephew was stuck on the elevator alone because the doors shut immediately after he entered. I told the front desk staff and she immediately called engineering who responded quickly and was able to get the doors open to release him. The cleaning staff didn't clean too well. They made the bed and removed trash from the cans that's it.

Rooms clean My experience with the front desk during check-in also left me uncomfortable. I arrived at approximately 5:00 p.m. and was given my room keys, told where the elevator was located, and informed of the breakfast hours. That was essentially the extent of the information provided to me. After getting settled in my room, I realized that I had not been given information regarding the hotel's Wi-Fi or internet access. Later, while downstairs waiting for a food order, I observed other guests checking in. I specifically noticed white guests being voluntarily provided with considerably more information about the hotel, including Wi-Fi information that had not been offered to me. That difference stood out to me. I cannot speak to the employee's intent, and I recognize that there could be other explanations for the difference in service. However, as a Black guest, it was uncomfortable to watch white guests receive a noticeably more thorough and welcoming check-in experience shortly after my own abbreviated interaction. I do not make an observation like this lightly. I can only speak to what I personally experienced and witnessed. Regardless of the reason, there was a noticeable difference in the level of service, and it left me questioning why I was not afforded the same information and courtesy. Finally, I specifically chose this hotel in part because of reviews describing the location as convenient for travelers who wanted to get back on their route and continue their trip. Based on those reviews, I expected relatively easy access back to the interstate the following morning. That was not my experience at all. Getting back on my route involved considerably more turns and local driving than I expected. It was not simply a matter of leaving the hotel, quickly accessing the interstate, and continuing toward Cambridge. For someone selecting a hotel specifically as an overnight stopping point during a longer road trip, that distinction matters.

Didn’t like the bed size I paid for a queen size and I feel they gave me full size beds

I really liked how clean and comfortable the hotel was. It was also pretty quiet, which made the stay more relaxing. The location was very convenient and made it easy to get to a lot of different places. Breakfast was normal limited buffet and everything was clean. The biggest issue was the air conditioning. The room would not cool below 74 degrees, which made it uncomfortably warm, and the AC display showed “ERROR 4.” I also noticed a large stain underneath the sheets, which was concerning considering how clean the rest of the room appeared. Additionally, the shower door was broken. These maintenance and cleanliness issues were disappointing and definitely affected an otherwise comfortable stay.
