Econo Lodge Truman Inn

We always stay there when we are in Sedalia!! Rooms are clean...the staff is very nice and helpful and it's so close to shopping! We have never had an issue yet!! Thank you so much and we will be back!!!

Pros: Good water pressure, hot water. Large mini fridge. AC worked well. Sheets appeared clean.

2.) Rust on shower hand rail, 3.) Difficult to log into television to watch a channel and television on the small size 4.) No facial tissue supplied 5.) Continental Breakfast very basic, not much of a food selection. If I could of re-booked I would of stayed somewhere else.

Place was filthy. Sheets were stained, towels stained, toilet seat scratched up and missing paint on the seat, sink scratched up and stained, shower curtain stained. The only positive thing was the ac was ice cold but probably was blowing all kinds of nasty germs and mold into the air.

Rooms weren't ready and they doubled the price to go from one to two beds!

Hotel looks better in the pictures it’s outdated and was dirty

As someone who travels frequently across the country for filming and reporting events, I was excited to stay at this hotel in Sedalia, Missouri, near the truck and tractor pool event. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the online photos or expectations. The hotel’s exterior and the room we received were quite disappointing. We had booked a room that was supposed to feature a jetted bathtub, which was prominently displayed in the pictures. However, upon arrival, we found ourselves in a basic, outdated room with none of those amenities. The pool area was unpleasant, with a noticeable bad odor, and the front of the hotel had a strong smell of Thai food, which was off-putting. Breakfast was underwhelming and did not meet even basic standards. Given my extensive travel experience, I can say this hotel falls short of what is advertised online. If you’re considering booking here, especially based on photos, I would advise caution. Overall, this stay was below expectations, and I recommend looking at other options when visiting Sedalia.

Older kinda run down

The whole place is dirty! There was no food for breakfast except things that have been there awhile. The air conditioning didn’t work. Really needs a good updating. Would never recommend this place.

It had a pool, located by the highway, good parking, and ac worked. One bed was broken, the other bed was lumpy. Covers were trash, the ac never cut off so it was always freezing, the room had roaches, body soap was by the sink, the floors weren’t the cleanest, breakfast was a joke, pools and jacuzzi were filthy!

Nasty shower head was crusty hot tub didn’t even get hot was warm but not hot sauna didn’t work

Convenient parking

I booked it online based on the price and availability. I booked it a few minutes from pulling in. From the outside, like the pictures online, it seemed okay. Maybe not the nicest but we needed a room as we were traveling. I walked in with our small children and was blown away. It was awful! Very dirty, smelled like mold with old broken and stained furniture in the lobby, Because we had our kids they wanted to check out the pool so we did and it looked like a dungeon. I'm not even sure if it was in service. We turned around and walked out. I called the front desk and was polite and didn't want to be disrespectful to their place so I said that I rented it in error, which in my eyes I did because if I knew it would be in the shape it was I never would've booked it. They lady I spoke with said that I needed to call Expedia. When I called the gentleman I spoke to seemed helpful and said he would need to call the hotel to see if they would approve a refund. Evidently he spoke to the same person I did because she remembered me calling. She denied my refund. It was so bad that I didn't stay even though I was required to pay for it. We ended up driving 30 mins to Warrensburg and staying there. We had a MUCH better experience there. I would highly recommend moving down the road if this hotel is your only option!

The WiFi kept disconnecting and no Gym...

Room was clean but dated and in need of some repairs. Hallways were a bit musty.

Clean. Nice staff. It was a good stay.
