Comfort Inn & Suites Shelbyville

I've stayed here a few times. Once again, the pool is out of service! No discount and nothing tells you ahead of time the pool isn't working. That's part of the reason I chose this hotel. Call ahead and don't just book it if you want to use the pool.

The breakfast was amazing, rooms were very clean and smelled good I wish that we were notified sooner that the pool was closed down and with the pool being closed down maybe give a small discount would have been nice cuz the only reason we actually rented a room from there is because it had a pool they did offer to let us cancel but with it being so last minute I couldn't guarantee we could find a room in another place so last minute

The back lawn of the property was completely covered in litter with trash and debris.

Location Pool was closed the whole weekend. That was the primary focus of our stay

Just fine for a short visit. Bathroom is TINY! TV was a pain. Beds fine. Helpful staff.

Stayed there specifically because I need ed to swim . But the pool was out of commission until further notice. I wish there was something posted or I would have stayed somewhere else

Don, the manager, checked us in. He remembered us from previous stats. He’s always helpful and courteous. Breakfast bar was awesome!! Room was clean, pleasant scent, and cool when we checked in. This is our go to hotel whenever we visit family in Shelbyville.

Front desk guy was friendly. We were given one key and took the elevator that made noise as the door closed up to our floor. Our room was run down, old, and noisy air conditioner unit, toilet that hardly flushed, and got plugged and when my husband went down to tell them, they handed him a plunger. Unreal. The only good thing I’ll say is that the bedding- sheets and blankets were clean.

Everything was perfect! Workers were so friendly, very clean and kept up. Breakfast was awesome as well!

Our heater may have worked, but it stank like burning coils, so we couldn't use it. The fridge was on full blast but didn't keep things cold, and that is one reason we got a room with a fridge; for our babies formula. There was a loud buzzing noise the entire stay, never did figure out where that was coming from. The bathroom was dirty...someone cut their hair and it was all over the shelf next to the sink. Certainly not worth over 200 dollars for the night. Disappointed.

No issues….just could be a bit cleaner in the front entrance/eating area. But staff was very nice and room was clean.
