Candlewood Suites Sheridan by IHG

This place offers ample parking and is conveniently located near the highway. The staff was friendly, and the room was spotless. It’s also close to shops, restaurants, and a Walmart.

I had booked two rooms through Expedia. I got an email that I had 2 rooms. When we arrived they only found one room under my last name. They had another available room so there was no problem. I then started checking the Expedia website (as there is no phone number to call) and it appeared that the other room was under the last name of one of my other travelers. I returned and they found it and used that for our second room. This was disturbing especially when there was no one to talk with who would take responsibility to find the problem. The rest of the stay was good but watch out for this !

Very good stay. Staff was exceptional.

Room had a usable, well supplied kitchen, clean comfortable bed with good pillows. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is a Wal-Mart across the street which makes it easy to grab some food to cook in the room.

This was a great hotel. Very clean. We were originally going to bring our dogs and while we decided not to, it would have been configured well for that. There was a very nice mini-kitchenette. I would stay here again.

My husband and I ABSOLUTELY loved this Candlewood Suites hotel in Sheridan, WY. It was our very first visit to Wyoming and our first stay at a Candlewood Suites property. This hotel in Sheridan WY is beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming! We could not believe how spacious and well-equipped our room was! We were pleasantly surprised by the fully stocked kitchenette, walk-in shower, large bathroom with Dove products, and more-than-decent closet with hangers, iron, ironing board as well as a laundry basket. BONUS: the laundry facilities in the hotel are free-of-charge! You can purchase detergent and fabric softener from the hotel if you don't have your own, but you don't need to pay for the use of the washers and dryers! That was cool! But better than our accommodation was the customer service at the front desk. We arrived more than an hour before the usual check-in time, but the staff were happy to check us in since our room was ready. Reneria Campbell, the General Manager, was also VERY sweet and kind. She has the perfect spirit of hospitality! We're glad we picked Candlewood Suites and will stay at this property again if we return to Sheridan! There was NOTHING we didn't like. Everything exceeded our expectations!

Such kind, helpful staff! The room was a great size, clean, loved how many amenities (sink, microwave) were in the room. I also appreciate the dog friendly nature of this hotel!

Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was courteous and helpful. Room charges were exactly what was quoted. No additional charges or fees (nice change of pace).

It was clean. Beds were uncomfortable. The pillows didn't smell clean snd feathers poked you in the face and head. The worst was an impromptu Fire Alarm meant for the staff only. There was no warning to guests, no one really knew if it was for real. I was getting ready to step into t he shower and my son who has Cerebral Palsy began to panick because we were on the 2nd floor and he would have to go down stairs ( we almost couldn't find them) The poor couple next door came out half dressed she was in a towel. No one knew if we needed to go down stairs or not. We didnt smell anything and when I tried to call the front desk there was no answer.. Then a guest came upstairs and told us it was a staff alarm. Not real for us. But management should have had someone on staff inform the guests on allfloors. We returned to the hotel after dinner that evening and there was a clown note "from management" .kind of making it laughable and then offered a free snack or points to make up for the disturbance. IT WAS NOT FUNNY and could have been extremely dangerous. I will not use IHG hotels again.

Smoke alarm was cover with foil wasn’t a good feeling

I got charged twice ( insanely high prices for the hotel ) when we stayed. They dont know how to reverse charges so I’ll have to dispute it. Room was actually pretty nice and very nice beds but the hotel could use a little revamp. Angela was very helpful.
