The location and setting of the hotel is not great, on a pretty rundown street. However, it's within walking distance of the main shopping street with restaurants and shops. We booked a suite room for a family of 4 and "suite" is a bit of a stretch. It was just bigger than a normal hotel room with a pull out sofa.

Breakfast was not able to be provided to us to try it. After 45 minutes after ordering and waiting for it and new people came in and ordered - they would get what we ordered or said they did not order that and never came back to our table after we seen it done twice. We got up and left.

If you are looking for a new facility this is not for you. This hotel has a great history and is very well maintained. There are no televisions so if you need TV noise do not stay here. Stay here if want quiet comfort and super friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

Historical and beautiful property. Very comfortable Inn . The staff is awesome. The lobby and our room were decorated to keep the vibe of old west .The breakfast was a bonus and the meal was very tasty .

The hotel has a fascinating history. It was walking distance to downtown restaurants and the made-to-order breakfast was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay.

Place was very historic, and one of the best breakfasts we have had and it is part of the room charge. Only thing missing is a shower!

A beautiful hisorical inn which balances luxury and amenities while preserving the feel of the old West and heritage of the railroad’s development of towns.

Cons: Just a weird vibe the whole visit. At breakfast they dropped food off and never came back. No salt/pepper, butter or jelly for toast. When we asked for jelly we got one tiny container for the 2 of us. You know those jelly things that are usually in a little stack on tables when you eat breakfast at a restaurant. No TV in the room either. If you want ice you have to go to the front desk and take your bucket and they will fill it for you.

What else can I say about this property but…WOW! Did not really know what to expect upon check in. The staff are so welcoming, helpful, and just overall phenomenal. The rooms have an old west feel, immaculately clean and quiet, amazing bath products…I could go on and on. Breakfast is included and oh my, it is fabulous. Do not skip it! If you are ever in Sheridan, please give this lovely little inn a try!
